The seafood pasta was delicious.
The mai tais were delicious and did an effective job of smoothing the edges.
And the sunset view was spectacular.

Setting, view, atmosphere - unbeatable. I had the Ono poke nachos and they were amazing. Happened to show up at happy hour and got to pick our own seats in the open air area and had amazing drinks at decent prices. Will go again!

Beautiful restaurant do come at sunset to enjoy the views!
Douglas our server was attentive, charming, funny and had wonderful recommendations.
I’d skip on the edamame but the poke nachos, seafood salad, salmon and special were amazing!
Don’t skip on desert either. Peanut butter and key lime pie…. Best I’ve ever had!

We had an incredible dinner here. It's all open air. The lamb chops were perfectly tender and delicious, the mahi mahi was very fresh. The flavors are creative and add to the dishes (like chipotle mashed potatoes). You must try the key lime mac nut pie! Wow!

Shout out to Douglas (our server) who was such a pro with recommendations and accommodating a dietary need. We got in without a reservation because it was a Monday evening and they weren't full. Might be worth showing up and asking for a table if it's not a weekend, because the website said there were none.

We actually stopped here twice. The first was after a log day and all we wanted was a meal before calling it a day! We were a bit early as the place was pretty empty but, the view was really nice of the ocean from above. We had the calimari and it was fabulous! Best I have had in a while. We also ordered fresh bread and they served it with frozen butter! Had to ask for it to be nuked so we could spread it on our bread! The food
served for dinner was served luke warm for both of us! I did not return it as I was hungry and did not want to wait. The second time we visited, we had the same type of experience. The price of the food does not match the type of service we received.

This is a large Open-Air Restaurant with a Beautiful but distant Ocean View. It has Good Service, Food and Atmosphere. We visit regularly for the casual open atmosphere finding it very relaxing and enjoyable. They suggest reservations on busy nights & weekends but we've never had an issue being seated quickly. The Menu is simple and very good. Our usual visits are during late afternoons so I cannot comment on evenings, however, it does appear to get busy. They have live music some evenings and it appears to be busier on those nights. I enjoy their Tropical Itch cocktail and it is served with a back scratcher you can keep.

We stopped at Sunset Kai Lanai and were so glad we did! I had the poke bowl and it was fresh and flavorful. The open-air layout made the whole meal feel relaxed, and it never felt crowded even during a busy time. The views are gorgeous perfect for watching the sunset.

A big plus was how attentive the staff were: they took extra time to make sure someone in our group with a gluten allergy was completely accommodated, which we really appreciated. Clean bathrooms, great food, and wonderful service highly recommend!

Our server, Douglas, was fantastic. He had great recommendations for both drinks and food. His attitude was a 5+! He recommended the key lime pie, and it was some of the best I've ever had. The crust was so delicious... It was made with macadamia nuts. Yum! By the way, this is a great place to watch the sun set while enjoying a cocktail. 🍹👍😎

Had a great dining experience, celebrating my friend’s 94th birthday. Our server was Trent and he was extremely friendly, helpful, and flexible to our party’s needs. He went above and beyond to ensure our group of 14 was well taken care. Atmosphere is always a 10/10 here. A great place to celebrate!
