This place doesn’t open until 6:30 am and the staff didn’t seem to care that I was there and the hours clearly show they open at 6.

Typical excellent Starbucks experience. Great service and quality product. Clean place. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Great place to study or work too. Drive through.

I live near Seattle and am an avid collector of their coffee mugs from the places we visit so just had to stop by during our first ever visit to the Big Island. We found a Hawaii mug but not a Kona one. Coffee was great or rather the refreshers were because it was just too hot for a coffee. It was so good, we went there twice. Hours are a bite limited, they close at 5pm on Sundays.

Waited in line for awhile for our order. Somehow, the Barista who took our order thought I wanted whip cream on my iced americano... I got to the window after waiting for about 15 minutes or more for our turn in the line to have her hand me the incorrect order. She seemed a bit upset and I wasn't at all. Truly. Mistakes happen. She asked if she should remake it and I said yes, please... within a couple minutes or less, I was handed the same drink. She just took the whip cream off the top. How did I know this? The leftover whip cream residue was floating at the top and the cup still had the original sticker on it. Pretty disappointed she couldn't just remake it for me. You could do better Starbucks- and please train your employees to NOT do this to customers.

Was very disappointed when we got to the store 10 min before closing and they said their ovens are being cleaned and food was no longer available. The store is open until 7pm, therefore they should have everything available until 7pm. That is poor customer service. Cleaning up is after the store is closed, that is how business work.

I don't go to Starbucks often but I decided to treat myself today! I was excited to get my favorite drink but was met with a lack of good customer service from one barista in particular. I watched her make my drink (because they forget the almond milk sometimes and I'm really allergic to dairy). I also asked for lite ice because here in Hawaii, the ice melts fast and the drink gets watery quickly. I saw her put a whole scoop of ice in and figured that wasn't my drink but she gave it to. I stood there stirring my drink thinking to myself "should I ask if this was lite ice? I don't want to sound mean but there's barely any drink in here...it doesn't hurt to ask." I hate confrontation...so the barista had her arms crossed standing and chatting with her colleagues. I asked politely "excuse me? Is this light ice?" And her face looked half disgusted and half confused and replied "I can dump some out if you want." That's it. That's all she said. She made me feel humiliated and embarrassed for asking. I looked at her and thought, 'it's not worth it I could dump the ice out myself if I really wanted to.' My friends who work at Starbucks were sad to hear that and they said she should have re-made my drink. Anyways...I'll be going to a different coffee shop who appreciates my business.

This review is for the Starbucks in Safeway. Today 12/21/22 at 1:00 PM. I had the best service from the young Man who was working solo. Not only was he talking orders he was making orders. The line was long, and he was working quickly and efficiently. The absolute best part is, the smile never left his face, and I watched him engage with every single customer ahead of me. Not just take their order, but add that personal touch. For me it was, that's new I've never had it, have you?. I wish I could remember his name, Glen maybe. Just wanted him to know his attitude during this busy season was the epitome of Aloha!! Mahalo

I hope I am reviewing the right Starbucks...I want to give a shout out to Ed! He went above and beyond with the customer service he provided. I went on vacation to the island of Kona and I purchased a few mugs. To my surprise when I got home I realized I forgot one of the mugs at the store. I gave the store a call and explained what happened Ed happily mailed the mug to me and made my day. Thanks so much Ed! I appreciate you going above and beyond for this traveler's mishap.

DONOT WASTE YOUR TIME !!!! Always out of everything. Then your stuck in line. Go to the Harbor Starbucks. They have better management and rarely run out of products. This one needs major help. It’s been like this FOR A LONG TIME TOO. I keep trying to give them a chance and I’ve wasted so much gas being stuck in a line as they’re ALWAYS out of stuff ! Don’t be like me. Move. On.

Seriously appreciate how friendly this Starbucks was!! We had a lame experience at the Starbucks in the grocery store next door. I have a teen that likes to order Tik Tok drink ideas. My husband read her order off a note.... The barista was so kind and even ended with a, "here, friend" after we asked for extra napkins.

Very unhappy with the service of this Starbucks. Their cafe is closed...ok. They turn off their mobile order in the mornings so you cannot order and their drive-thru line is ridiculous. Just took a three mile walk in the heat to get some coffee and exercise. I got there an hour and 15 minutes before they normally close. They closed early today with no explanation. Theguy outside said they decided to close early today. I'm done!!!!!

Sorry there is no 0 star rating, coffee tastes like they just rinsed their pitcher and pured it in a cup, for the third time already. Goes straight to the trash AGAIN. WAY TO GO STARBUCKS!
