Stumbled across this place by accident, and it is such a hidden gem!! Some of the tastiest fried chicken I’ve had paired with some incredible sauces. We loved the yuzu and the sweet and spicy. The chicken was perfectly breaded, not too thick, and the meat was so tender and juicy. 10/10

Hands down the best fried chicken you’ll ever have! You’ll regret not stopping by. All homemade sauces and the crispiest fried chicken you’ve ever had guaranteed. Coming from someone with a sensitive stomach, the ingredients they use are super high quality and gluten free. This is the only restaurant in Kona I regularly go to. The spicy mayo is my favorite and I’d definitely recommend the Yakisoba bento if you’re looking for some variety. You won’t be disappointed. Hidden gem!!

If you are celiac, you are safe here! The person that took my order was so lovely. They said that if even a drop of oil from the regular fryer goes into the gf fryer, they throw the whole oil out. They are passionate about providing good food for people who can't normally get to enjoy it. And it's delicious!

Veteran karaage connoisseur with 4 decades of tracking down the best value karaage in Japan. Interestingly, 50% of all food truck applications in Japan are for karaage. Met the owner, Susumu, who is a veteran karaage start-up expert here in the U.S. (also a judo expert as you can tell from his physique). From the remote island of Tokunoshima (near Okinawa) who said his first visit to Kona reminded him of his birthplace. We took 6 granddaughters who polished off all the karaage (with hashi) FAST. GREAT VALUE. Thankful.

Quality food and quality people! Stopped in here at 5pm, just 30 minutes before they closed for dinner with 5 people. I asked if it was ok if we order dinner, wanting to be respectful of how close it was to closing time. The owners (presumably the couple running the show) were more than happy to have us, even so close to the end of their work day. Very hospitable. We had to wait on the fresh rice, but it wasn’t a problem, they were very up front about it. And I’d rather wait for fresh food then for super processed stuff anyway.
The food itself was amazing. High quality and prepared excellently. The chicken was moist and crispy and just perfect! The Mac salad was tasty, and the veggies were fresh.
This place sits in a small food court area with other vendors and with picnic style seating. When we went, this was the only vendor open, but the others looked good too.
More than anything I was struck by how tasty and fresh the food was (attention to detail) and how much the owners truly cared. This is a winning combination for food and business!
If you want some great wings and chicken just off the busy area, this is the place to go!

Takoyaki is Oishii as can be! Made to Order chicken karaage- perfect size plate portions. We got the curry karaage plate, plate was cleaned after. Yum! Lots of shaded seating too
