We were told that they would open at noon at 11:45am. We came back at noon and were told 1pm. Then we were told they weren’t even sure about 1pm. Don’t commit to a time and then change the signs every hour. Very disappointing.

One of the best meals we had on the big island. Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked. We went back for another the day before we departed but the store was closed for renovations. Although we were disappointed we didn't get a second chance to enjoy, we're grateful we were able to experience one of the best burgers we've ever had! Highly recommend

I hate to give a bad review. I really wanted to like this place. The fries are fantastic, and I appreciate their commitment to using locally sourced ingredients. I visited three times in four days while in Kona, but unfortunately, the burger quality was inconsistent.

The first burger was overcooked, the second was spot-on, but the third was a disappointment. I ordered to-go and they forgot our fries. On top of that, the burger was so salty it was inedible. For $15.99, that’s a real letdown.

Stopped by here our first night in Kona, we just got off the plane and wanted something quick, this place ended up being our favorite restaurant and ended up eating here a total of 3 times during our stay on the big island, the food is cooked perfectly probably some of the best hamburgers I’ve had definitely in the top 3, my now fiancé is very picky as well and she absolutely LOVED the food, 10/10 on the food, the service was also great, the cashiers and servers were very nice and helpful and very good at their job, this place is all around a FANTASTIC place to stop if you’re looking for something quick and delicious or even if you want to spend some time and enjoy some outside dining or chill inside the restaurant

Best burger on the island hands down. Juicy patties, awesome sauce, great charred flavour, super filling. Had multiple burgers on the island and this was hands down the best. I had excellent service both times I visited.

My only nit is that the brioche bun (which super flavorful) falls apart on a double burger. The burger is that juicy that the bun disintegrates!!

I have been coming to Ultimate Burger Kona since ~2010 and it is absolutely unmatched! It is one of our favourite restaurants on the Big Island. I have yet to find another burger, fries, or lemonade that even comes close! I have brought several friends that are visiting the island and have advertised to them that Ultimate Burger is the best burger you will ever have and every single one of them has agreed within 1 or 2 bites. Absolutely recommend UB, great service, nice option to eat outside, and always surfing on the TVs. Aloha🤙🏻
