ULU Ocean Grill

Ulu holds a special place in our hearts. My wife and I visited 7 years ago on our honeymoon and enjoyed an unforgettable tomahawk steak. Fast forward to today, we returned—this time with our two kids—and the experience was just as magical. Although the menu has changed, when I asked about the tomahawk, the team went above and beyond to make it happen.

A huge thank you to Bronson and Zoe for your exceptional service and to the manager who went the extra mile (literally!) to another restaurant to get the necessary supplies. Your dedication and care made our visit truly special.

Ulu continues to deliver incredible memories for our family, and we can’t wait to come back again!

Restaurant under renovation but this is a temporary set up with limited menu choices. surprisingly, the sushi and sashimi are quite good. BBQ meats and seafoods are also delicious. OVERALL Not bad.

Not up to par with Four Seasons quality. Apathetic service and food quality was low quality/bar food. Although the views are nice, save your $$ if you are expecting a Four Seasons experience. It is not.

ULU is one of my all time favorites. The food is always spot on. The location and setting can't be beat. The service is usually outstanding, although I did have one minor beef this time. The staff would stop and socialize with all the tables that were adults only, but if there were kids at your table - especially a majority, they were polite and professional, but not talkative.

A pearl in a deep, warm sea, everything exceeded my expectations, thank you, grace.

Vegetarian options: When you want to detoxify your body you should visit them. It is varied, super rich and varied. They invited me and I loved it.

Parking: Safety and space for your vehicle, above all safety

Kid-friendliness: If your children will feel very comfortable

We were looking forward to this dinner given the recommendations. The service was a bit condescending. They forgot to bring one of our appetizers. When our entree arrived, I mentioned this and the response was “do you want it now?” We were then offered a soufflé as an apology. When we declined the offer, the manager thought it was a good idea to bring us a dessert menu while we were only halfway through our entree. The food was good but not exceptional. We were far more impressed by the Canoe House at our hotel, the Mauna Lani auberge from service to quality of food.

The location of this restaurant is just amazing! Come an hour early to explore the grounds and beaches of this restaurant/resort. We loved the poke and soufflé but the main dishes (short ribs and curry) were just okay. The staff is just amazing and so kind.

Beautiful restaurant and location. Service was wonderful. The short ribs and soufflé were excellent. The fish was overcooked and the sauce did not have much flavor. However, for a special occasion or romantic dinner, believe this is one of the two best restaurants on the island. Enjoyed our experience very much.

First time back in 2 years and it's still amazing. Worth the drive over here to the Four Seasons Hualalai and the splurge. Everything is delicious, service is top-notch and the view is incredible. Literally, right next to the waves. Amazing experience as always.

Ocean front (any closer and you are in the water), great food (in a memorable way) elegant service (the classic four seasons warmth and expertise) and an over all joyful evening that makes for a wonderful evening. My favorite spot on the island.
