Airport poke. Who knew?? Our morning flight to the island ran out of food options, so we were starving by the time we arrived in the afternoon. We got the spicy ahi, seaweed salad, mac salad, and cucumber kimchi on the side. It was so fresh and delicious!! It was so good that we had it again right before we departed.
Noticed some tourists were not very kind. Remember to treat the staff like people, even if you're in a bit of a rush.

B behind the bar needs to be FIRED! Ruining everyone’s trip out of HI from such a fabulous time is shameful. If I didn’t have to refrain from being a hostile passenger, I would have shut her mouth, the way she spoke to my husband and I. FIRE HER NOW! Clearly I’m not the only one by all the other reviews. Left without spending a penny here, with a four hour wait, I’d rather eat from the gift shop!

Awful very rude service! No aloha spirit so don’t waste your money. We are shocked at the immediate attitude from the grumpy non island vibe lady at the bar. We have a four hour wait before heading out and just wanted a drink and dinner, and she was disgusting. We went over to Laniakea Cafe instead and we’re greeted with a smile. She needs to find another line of business. Love the island and she needs to go back to the mainland for customer service training

Weird smell when you come in. Staff at registers were rude and dismissive. “Well I don’t know what to tell you, it’s a burger.” And “it says fries on the menu so that’s what you get” and “Hooold on honey” when my daughter asked her a question. We spent $75 on a burger and a pineapple chicken with rice, a small banana bread and 2 water bottles. I kinda wish I didn’t tip them anything but I’m hoping the people back in the kitchen were better than the ones up front. I would have rather eaten stuff from the gift shop but we have a long flight ahead of us which is why we tried this place. But I would not recommend. The two ladies are very rude , you don’t scream at your customers period, without them you don’t have a paycheck. Stay away from this place unless a miracle happens. 🙏

If I could give zero, I would. The bar lady here completely ruined the last bit of my Hawaiian trip. This is the only restaurant in the terminal, and yet the service is beyond unacceptable.
Here’s what happened: I ordered normally, then politely asked if I could have a virgin piña colada. She immediately snapped “no” and claimed there was a “federal law” that non-alcoholic drinks cannot be served in a glass. Excuse me? The tone she used was hostile and dismissive from the start. And SWEETHEART, I live in America, if there’s “federal law” about this, trust me, I’d know.
What makes it worse: her attitude was blatantly different toward me and my sister compared to others. I strongly question if there was racial bias involved. After that, she started yelling across the bar that “no nonalcoholic drink can go in glass, not even water” and even shouted at customers, “ARE YOU GONNA LISTEN TO ME OR NOT?” Absolutely unprofessional, aggressive, and disgraceful behavior.
I don’t care what excuse she thinks she has, no staff member should treat paying customers like this, especially in an airport where travelers don’t even have other dining choices. This was embarrassing, hostile, and deeply disrespectful.
Do yourself a favor: eat before you get to the airport, because no one deserves to have their trip end on such a toxic vibe.
And to that bar lady, I truly pity you. Acting like a crazed, possessed figure in front of paying customers is just so embarrassing and pathetic. Please, treat yourself better, get a real life outside of yelling at strangers, and maybe you’ll be a little less furious and desperate every day.

This place proves to be bad every single time I go through the airport. It doesn't live up to the actual restaurant in Kona, which is superior by food and customer service. They need to remove the mochi from the menu. They haven't had it the past year- I've tried to order it at least 20 times so far I've been on the terminal, they were always out. The cashier today was also with nasty attitude today( rude) This was my last try to give them a chance. I'll bring my food next time.

Food was decent, employees were grumpy and food was crazy-priced. All things considered 2-3 stars is fine.

This is the only eating option once inside the terminal. The prices reflect this, with > $25 for a very basic lunch box. The premises were not very clean. I advise to eat before crossing the security check.
They are terrible. Lady behind the bar refused to sell me a cup of water, and claimed it was a law in Hawaii... looked up the liquor laws of Hawaii.. no where does any law state that a bar in Hawaii can not serve a customer a glass of water/soda/juice. Never heard of this in my life. I just wanted a dang glass of ice water.

The good was quite good. There are no other food options in my terminal but I really liked the thick cut fries and I thought the smoked pork with cabbage was better than expected. Mac salad I'd skip

Good teriyaki chicken the chicken was well cooked flavors were good. The bowl fries were unique just wasn’t a big fan of the thicker fried cut, but I think if you like a lot of potato, you might really enjoy this style of french fry. The servers were friendly and attentive. the food came out quick and hot. I just wasn’t a big fan of the overall taste of the food but good since I didn’t have to leave the airport although if I had a longer layover, I would’ve taken a Lyft or an Uber and gone to one of the cafés that were pretty close by.
Lots of outdoor seating under umbrellas for shade and also the café inside is air-conditioned and had a decent amount of tables

I’d give them 0 stars if google allowed. This is the only restaurant in the terminal and let me tell you, they Well aware of it. If I’m paying $25+ per item, I want to know what’s in it. Don’t put it on the board if you don’t have it, and then tell me you’re out and walk away. I don’t know if they’re just plain rude or actually racist or just hate themselves, but this was a sore end to an amazing trip on a beautiful island. It’s truly unfortunate that people don’t have a choice but to grab food from here before their travels
