We opted to stay at the resort for dinner instead of venturing out. We were pleasantly surprised by our dining experience at Piko at The Outrigger in Kona HI. The service from our server Marie was excellent. The food was very good and nicely presented. The ahi and the fish collar appetizers were great. Everyone enjoyed their main course as well as dessert. I would highly recommend dining at Piko.
I've been to too many prime rib buffets in my day, but I can honestly say this one was outstanding (Easter Buffet). The prime rib was very tender and medium rare to medium. The salads were nice and fresh. Downgraded them on ambiance but, hey; it's really a pool bar so what can you expect. Hoping Duke's is still going to open the main restaurant. Kudos to the hotel and staff.
Live music, welcoming staff, good food, lots to enjoy here. I would definitely come back to try more and the duo on Saturday night for live music was fantastic. Nice way to end the week and unwind. Good location in the middle tucked away. No ocean view but definitely a chill spot to enjoy.
