Wife and I had dinner here and loved it. I had the prime rib at Dukes the night before and it was meh and expensive, had the same size prime rib at Bull Shed and not only was it better tasting, it was half the price! It was our first time here and it was memorable. Wife, and friends loved their food too.

Horrible atmosphere. Bright lighting. Sterile. Beef undercooked and tough. Bar is like a diner counter.

I never give a bad restaurant review but I didn’t want another visitor to experience the cruddy expensive food and experience we had. $125 for 3 entrees that were small n dry with bugs in the drinks and dirty forks. The walls had missing plaster and holes in the ceilings. Both my daughters had bug in their waters /martinis after a few swallows. We sent the water back and realized after the 2nd drink the bugs were dropping from the dirty broken overhead hanging light.

The music was nice as you walked in BUT they took us way to the back. I felt the further back you went the dirty it looked.

Save your money and go down the road to lava lava.

We were told about this place by a phenomenal tour guide. When we get there the wait wasn't to bad. We thought we would be seated in the nice area where the music was. NOPE! We were taken to the back past the kitchen and servers in a back dirty area. When we were showen to our table it was not good. The table was wobbly water was spilt due to the wobbly table, and part of the trim was broke the light above us was broke and full of bugs that was dropping into our drinks. They brought out one little plate of bread, and we had asked for more the server acknowledged it and never brought anymore even after we asked a couple of other times. Then as for the very expensive dinner that was a joke. $36 for 12oz NY steak that was accompanied by a 1/2 cup white rice.(If you wanted a baked potato instead of the rice that's $3 extra, $3.50 extra if you wanted a salad) $26 teriyaki chicken with 1/2 cup white rice, and $32 pork ribslits 1/2 cup of white rice. This was more less on the lower side of prices when everything else was $38+ some items were at market prices which means they were higher. Now with all that said, you would think with all of that $$$ coming in that they would be able to fix the lights and have WAY better tables. Pretty much this place is overrated and overpriced. You will be better off going to Lava, Lava club or hell even McDonald's would be even better. Definitely cheaper and maybe more for your $$$$.

Great view, great food. Staff was nice. Only about a 10 min wait 'prime' dinner time.

Best Filet Mignot I've had in years. A must dinner while your visiting Kauai. Staff was great, so fast and very inviting. Can't wait to return.

I had the impression that they would like a quick turnover. Our orders came out of the kitchen quickly like the dishes were already prepared and only required a reheat. Oh yeah, the other thing is our server asked us to leave after thebill was paid. She said there was a reservation for our table and needed the space when there were vacant tables. I guess 20% tip just isn't enough anymore.

This is a neat gem of a restaurant that was recommended by a tour guide. You sit close to the water and the food was really good. It is pricy but worth it in my opinion.

We dined here for my boyfriend's birthday. The hostess was super nice. We were seated in the back of the restaurant right next to the window that overlooked the beach. It was night time but you could still hear and make out the waves breaking on the shore. That was a highlight for sure. I ordered the lamb and my BF was going to order the Prime Rib but they were out so that was disappointing. He ended up ordering the Ahi Tuna I think. The Lamb was excellent but my BF's dish was not good. It came out drenched in what I would describe as a heavy aioli. He sent it back but I still ended up splitting the lamb with him. We always like to order two dishes and share so we get to try more food. Nonetheless, the lamb is worth the visit.

It took awhile before he could send the dish back because our server was missing for a bit. She looked disappointed when he sent the dish back but was still nice about it.

This was still the most expensive meal on the trip even though we had the fish taken off the bill. It taught me that highly reviewed and "fancy" doesn't always mean the best. It wasn't our favorite and we probably won't be back the next time we visit the Island.

Very expensive mediocre food. Only reason of being here was because we had our best and first Kauai meal here 25 years ago. Now we have fulfilled our promise to come back.... But never again. But I do hope they do well in the future.
