Best food in town! We ordered the sampler platter and it was plenty for the two of us. We especially liked the Kailua pork which was tender, juicy and delicious.

My wife and I planned a trip to Hawaii being here for two days we stopped at Chicken In A Barrel BBQ Wahiawa for some foods. Who serve their customers burnt foods not char but burn. We finally got the young lady that served us to let her about our food the replacement was no better chicken not cooked half done and I ordered two ribs bone hardly no meat on it and burnt.

I had one chicken and one pork taco meal. They're a little bit spicy but delicious! Another person got a quarter of a chicken and nothing else and he was stuffed. Ribs were spectacular and even the fries had a crispy putter coating & were good. They have a self serve beer walk that was fun for the guys.

There was 9 of us, some wanted Mexican we wanted BBQ. We noticed this restaurant, after waiting a bit they took our order. I got a 1/4 chicken with fries, the wife got a pull pork sandwich and Mac and cheese. She said the Mac and cheese would have done either whole lunch because it was so good. My BBQ chicken was very good also, good smoke ring with good flavor.

Was adventuring with my husband in Kappa and needed quick bite for lunch. This bbq spot hit the spot! Best chicken and pulled beef loved their slaw too. There’s a public park right there and you can take your plate over and take in the ocean

You may think that this is just a fast-food place but this is a quality BBQ place. Amazing, smoked meat! You put on your own BBQ sauce, which I chose to skip and hubby chose the mild. I had a shredded beef sandwich and it was delicious. Thinking of grabbing another one tomorrow on the way to the airport. Hubby had the sampler platter and loved every bite, including the chili and sweet potato fries. I tasted the chicken leg and it melted in my mouth and I went back to his plate for a second taste. Sampler plate included the pulled pork, pulled beef, chicken leg and a pork rib plus two sides. We could have shared it but hubby was a trouper and finished every last bite.

Solid food from some sort of takeaway next to the road. Fast and friendly service and good portions for a decent price. Coleslaw clearly too small for the price. The taste is also decent and recommended. Some outdoor seating in front of the snack bar. Parking spaces are available in the area.

The BBQ chicken and ribs were excellent. Their homemade sauce rivals any BBQ on the mainland. Love the tangy flavor. The owner is a super cool guy! This place is a must go!

We ordered the Sampler and it was delicious! The portions were large enough for two people to share. The price was very reasonable. Service was fast and the guys working had cute personalities. The only negative was our kids ordered the nachos and enjoyed them as well, though they said it could have used more meat. Another good thing to know is that they have several locations.
