“Great local roaster that knows how to roast to bring out the natural varietal profile. This was our go to morning cup everyday while vacationing in Kauai. You can get any bean on the menu as a pour over. It was my first time trying coffees from Thailand and India. The baristas know how to pull an espresso shot. Nice crema and rich flavor. Not knocking the iconic Kauai Coffee, but if you like coffee that's roasted to bring out flavor profiles natural to the bean, Imua is the place for you. ☕“

“4.5 stars. Generously priced AND proper espresso? I’m impressed.
What I got: Iced caramel latte for $5.49. They were out of macnut syrup which was the only thing on my mind during our 10 hour flight. Quite disappointing, but I was still understanding about it. After all, $5.49 for perfectly pulled, beautifully roasted shots of espresso? Kinda hard to be upset for too long.
Atmosphere: The earth tones in here are beautiful. Simple, not boring. Clean, decent amount of seats/tables.
Service: The girl taking orders was pretty standard, but the lady making the drinks was very bubbly and had a pretty smile!“

“Perhaps the best hand crafted artisan coffee in Kauai. This store is part of the Java Kai coffee roaster group but in a less populated place compared to other store locations. Tables are always tables available, both in door and out door. They really know how to bring out the aroma from their Salvador coffee farmer.“

“I was on my way to a different coffee place this morning but decided to stop here. The service was great. Coffee has great taste and I had a slice of the blueberry loaf and it melts in your mouth!“
