Went to hukilau for 37th wedding anniversary. Oct 15. Was dying for prime rib. Didn’t care about price I wanted Prime rib so so bad. All we get here on Kauai is choice. There is no fat in the meat no marbling and you can’t cut it with a fork. You have to slice every bite. That is choice. And if you’re good with that. Then the rib is great. It was cooked perfectly. It is a restaurant inside of a hotel the restaurant is delicious The salad with papaya dressing is a must I do not even like salads but I will eat this whole thing. Unfortunately my wife wanted some of it. My wife got a 5 course meal she absolutely loved it

Hukilau Lanai is very busy and bustling restaurant. I highly recommend to make reservations before hand due to the high demand.
Service was good, it could be improved we were placed in the end in a dim room away from the beauty of the night lights and fire. The server was attentive but as it’s in a separate room he wasn’t around to take any requests when needed.
Food was expectational all the kudos to the chef.
