I ordered an almond milk latte that was not good. It was bitter and not sweet at all. Sugar did not help.

Be prepared to commit. It’s consistently busy, and you’ll likely wait 15 minutes for your drink even after you’ve ordered.

Hands down the best on the island. Their roast is incredibly smooth and delicious—worth the visit for the quality alone.

There is only one washroom for a high-volume cafe, so expect a secondary line there. Don’t wait until it’s an emergency!

This place came highly recommended and it didn’t disappoint. Coffee is on point for a warm humid climate, blend and grinds are solid. Mac nut latte and mochas are bangers especially with the macadamia milk! Blended cold drinks are awesome. Food is on point too with fresh ingredients and portions that are the right size. Literally all the staff were so nice and friendly. We were in. Kapa’a for six days and we got breakfast here all six days! Good job Java Kai Kapa’a, your team has something special going here! We’ll be back.

I love Java Kai in general. Most of their locations are really nice and an older buildings, which gives us a great vibe. However, this one, the Coffee, kind of disappointed I’m not gonna lie and it was also very busy. I recommend going to another location if you have a chance! But still beat Starbucks

Everything but the Acai bowl is not recommended. Unfortunately it is far from being Acai.

Everything was made fresh. Larger portions with beautiful presentations. The drinks were delicious. It was a busy place but food came out pretty promptly. Outdoor and indoor seating options which was nice.
