This great restaurant is now closed indefinitely. Did they lose their chef? We have loved this restaurant but something was very wrong on 9/4/25 when we went. Scallop ravioli and Scallop and Ahi plate were very good, but the Duck salad not close to being up to prior high standard, for example. “Crispy” sea bass wasn’t though it was good. Tempura green beans were good. Carrot ravioli was just not good. Cocktails were off too. Waiter kept asking if everything was ok and we didn’t have the heart to tell him it wasn’t as superb as it used to be. Closed perhaps for good the next day. Very sad.

We visited this restaurant on our last night in Kauai, this is one of the best restaurants on the island yes it’s expensive but the quality of the staff and food is exceptional. Firstly they provide sour dough bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil to your table then they offer water or sparkling water. Then your table manager describes the specials and asks if you have any questions about the menu and any food allergies. We order of king fish sashimi for the starters and the braised beef check and the fish and scallops for our mains. Both meals were beautifully presented and tasted even better. Hands down, favorite meal I had in Kaua’i!! The staff were friendly, attentive, and the place had a classy but casual atmosphere. Koko was my server and she was an absolute delight! I came in time for the price fixed meal and it blew me away. The Mahi Mahi blew me away and the yuzu cheesecake melted in my mouth. Make sure to stop here if you adore amazing, well sourced, food!!

My favorite meal on Kauai! I'm vegan and they had incredible options that they were happy to walk me through. A lot of their vegetarian options are vegan and the staff is very knowledgeable. The carrot ravioli was one of the best dishes I've ever had. My omnivorous family also loved their dishes

Delicious, creative food in an unassuming location. Can’t recommend enough if you’re near Kapa’a. We did the early dinner prix fixe menu- highlights included tempura green beans, the seafood pasta and crusted marlin. The food was seasonal, local and beautifully presented.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Such incredible, inventive food. Japanese, Hawaiian, American - even a little Italian thrown in there. I know it sounds crazy but it works. I’ve eaten here 4 times now - it’s a must-go for me every time I visit the island. You can’t go wrong!
The hamachi sashimi = some of the best I’ve ever had. The carrot ravioli is amazing. The Japanese fried chicken is to die for. All so so good.
We had the prix fixe dinner. From the appetizer to the dessert, the meal presentation and tastes were superb. The chef was accommodating with a pescatarian request. Wait staff were attentive and friendly. Reminded me of a Michelin dinner without the tablecloths and price.
