This great restaurant is now closed indefinitely. Did they lose their chef?\n\nWe have loved this restaurant but something was very wrong on 9/4/25 when we went. Scallop ravioli and Scallop and Ahi plate were very good, but the Duck salad not close to being up to prior high standard, for example. “Crispy” sea bass wasn’t though it was good. We visited this restaurant on our last night in Kauai, this is one of the best restaurants on the island yes it’s expensive but the quality of the staff and food is exceptional. Firstly they provide sour dough bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil to your table then they offer water or sparkling water. I have eaten at Michelin star restaurants worse than this. For whatever it may be lacking, the food makes up for it. Every ingredient intentional and well executed. You won't find a better meal on this island
