This is my first time having Jojo’s shave ice and I will say I’m not disappointed. The macadamia nut ice cream in my #4 was a dream! Creamy and delicious. The coconut ice on top was the best I’ve had. Overall very happy with this place and would highly recommend it to anyone. Especially after a river tour with Khaymon @ Ali’i kayak tours. Both wonderful!
The kids working when we visited were helpful enough, recommended what we should try as this was our first ever shave ice. However, walking by their shop later, they were blasting nasty rap music which included the f-word. Realize they're geared to the young crowd, but all the more reason not to blare such filth. No business should project anything like this. Would NOT recommend this place.
We’ve become shaved ice snobs while visiting Hawaii on our honeymoon. This one is good… but not great! The ice melted SO fast and was pretty chunky, rather than the silky smooth texture you’re hoping for. They need to keep their syrups chilled to avoid melting half your bowl. Flavors were hit and miss & the ice cream was nothing special.
