Lemongrass has a great ambience and the service is great. We ordered the drunken duck and catch of the day (Mahi Mahi). They were both well cooked, and well seasoned but the sauces were overpowering the true flavors. The duck was well done and dry but not too dry. The prices were reasonable.

This was by far our favorite meal of the trip and my husband said it was his favorite meal ever! Macadamia nut crusted sea bass with a sweet mango chili sauce and lilikoi dressing. Served with rice and vegetables (they let me swap the rice for mashed potatoes)! Huge portion and amazing meal for an affordable price. My leftovers fed me for another meal! Their drinks were delicious and cheap as well. Must try spot in Kappa. Bonus, they're open much later than most restaurants.

A hidden gem, waipoli side before Kapaa. Couldn't get off the starter page. It was amazing. The sauces real tied the appetizers together. The mixed drinks real add to the atmosphere.
We got there at 5pm on an August Saturday evening and got right in. Service was fast and friendly. My wife ordered the Calcutta seafood plate; I got the sautéed catch of the day (Mahi mahi) and… holy moly. Much much tastier than either of the dinners we’ve had at “fancy” restaurants on this vacation. Seriously, both of the entrees were fantastic. 5/5 stars, definitely would recommend.

This was a nice quiet place for my wife and I. To enjoy! We both had a salad the House and the Lemongrass salad both was excellent . For our main meal we shared the Crusted Sea bass and this was an excellent choice . Three large pieces of the fish on a bead of rice and mixed vegetables. Again this was an excellent choice. Very fast service and the waitress was also very nice . You want be disappointed in this location for a nice priced meal.

Got dinner for five people, with one drink and no appetizers. Total bill was over $230. Not a single one of the dishes was notable, the macadamia crusted mahi was soggy, and overly sweet. The strip steak was overdone. Did not feel at all like we got value for the money spent.

We went on a Tuesday evening and it wasn’t busy at all. We sat outside and the traffic passing by was pretty loud. The service was great but the food was so-so. We had the lobster ravioli as an appetizer and it was pretty good.
My wife had the scallop scampi. She enjoyed it, but it wasn’t presented as she expected. The vegetables were good, but the sauce was the issue.
I had the New York steak. The starch of the day was mashed potatoes, which seems to be consistent based on reading other reviews. The potatoes were decent and the vegetables were good. The steak was the issue. It wasn’t a New York strip. I’m not sure what they mean by New York steak. It was thin, gristly, over cooked, and very tough.

We LOVED this place and would’ve gone again if we didn’t have to fly the next day. Some of the best food we’ve ever had. Make sure you get the macadamia nut sea bass, their speciality, and the coconut shrimp. The cocktails are good as well and they have a nice HH if you sit at the bar. The decor and vibe makes the whole experience. Shout out to Edgar and Joyce who treated us so kindly while we ate there. Put this on your list!
