I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but the inconsistent service and food held me back. We went three times because my husband likes Lau Lau, and it was within walking distance from our condo. The lady who works the morning shift is wonderful. The younger servers they had for the evening shift need more training. We enjoyed the food two out of the three visits.
I was feeling super indecisive when I walked in, but the lady behind the counter was so gentle and kind, helping me figure out exactly what to get. She explained everything with so much patience!
The food itself was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you’re craving poke and want great service to match!

I'm at 20-year resident and I work nearby in kapaa. I eat here regularly because the food is always good and the service is always friendly. I highly recommend to visitors and residence alike.
