I really wanted to like this place but the service is terrible. They charge $4 for sour cream and I did not get it with the meal as I asked. They did not return to refill drink either. They want min 16% tip. The food with rice and beans kept encountering a crunch as if the rice was overcooked or something. I had 2 cheese enchiladas and a mahi taco combo. Black beans and rice.

We were staying in Princeville and came to Kapa’a to walk around and shop. We had lunch at Mariachis. It was a Friday when we came, after the lunch crowd, so the place was not crowded. We both ordered the shrimp and carne asada burrito, and I had a beer. We both enjoyed the food, and the beer was good. The servers were nice, but not that attentive. Only when we were ready to pay our bill did the server come to refill our water glasses. Still, a good experience.

Stopped for lunch, nachos were super delicious. Had quesadillas that were large full of melted cheese! Service was friendly and fast. We come from Las Vegas and know our Mexican good. Highly recommend!
