I really wanted to love this place, was a great location. Service was mostly great. Ordered bread last minute and it never came out, I think the waitress forgot but other than that it was good. The food however, was disappointing. As an appetizer, we ordered the Okinawa chips and that was the only think we had that was absolutely amazing. For dinner we ordered the pork chop and the grilled catch, substituted lobster instead of the fish. Lobster was delicious, but ulu gnocchi and green beans were totally flavorless even with the lobster crème sauce. I had to ask for salt to make it palatable. Pork chop was a little tough, they did not provide a knife for cutting so that was odd. Also ordered a side of garlic whipped potatoes and could not taste any garlic. It was so bland, we couldn't even eat it. Mai tai was just ok. Ordered rock on the beach for dessert and it was like everything else... disappointing. We tried! Normally I'm not picky and am easily satisfied, but I think here you're just paying for the location. Which is beautiful but honestly I would have rather ordered food to go elsewhere and sat on the beach lol. Still rated a 3 because service was great, they provide some extras for celebrating our anniversary which was a nice surprise. But would I come here again? No thanks.

This was the perfect spot for my mom's birthday and our last night on Kauai! Our waitress Darla was fantastic and recommended some great dishes. I love that everything at the bar is made by scratch. Fishes were fantastic and fish so fresh! We want to come back. Thank you!!!

The restaurant is situated on the beach. The service was excellent, our sever was personable and attentive . We would recommend trying the caprese salad. The ricotta cheese was to die for. The seared ahi was world class.

Ryan, the manager, was absolutely phenomenal. He ensured my grandmother with a dairy and gluten allergy could still enjoy a beautiful meal. He was attentive, energetic, and very knowledgeable. The food was outstanding and the view was gorgeous!!! The fish is also caught by a local fisherman who has been working with the owner since they opened over 10 years ago! Highly recommend if you're in the area!
We went here for happy hour and to,listen to the local ukulele player. The ambience was beautiful since it's right by the beach. We only had beverages and no food. The music was very enjoyable and highly recommend it.

The waiter was extremely accommodating in taking pictures for us and even had suggestions on where we should stand on the property, then took the pictures for us. We got to sit directly in the center, overlooking the ocean, since it was our honeymoon. One of the workers, who I suspect was the owner, brought us champagne on the house to celebrate. Food was great. We got the daily catch and the filet. I didn't think the steak was going to be great at first glance, and it was spectacular.
