The grilled ahi was wonderful, and the wait staff, especially Danielle, gave us great service. The GM, Ryan, came & checked with us about my food allergies, & checked on us again after we had a few bites of our meal. On top of the great service, we were seated at a table with a beautiful view of the beach.

We went for the music on a Wednesday afternoon and stayed for a great dinner as well. Our server, Henry, is a gem. He made us feel at home right away, and recommended a great Spanish wine for our dinner. The music was excellent - Aldrine and Aaron - highly recommend for Hawaiian-style music. Our dinners were delicious, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and the atmosphere of the restaurant.

I really wanted to love this place, was a great location. Service was mostly great. Ordered bread last minute and it never came out, I think the waitress forgot but other than that it was good. The food however, was disappointing. As an appetizer, we ordered the Okinawa chips and that was the only think we had that was absolutely amazing. For dinner we ordered the pork chop and the grilled catch, substituted lobster instead of the fish. Lobster was delicious, but ulu gnocchi and green beans were totally flavorless even with the lobster crème sauce. I had to ask for salt to make it palatable. Pork chop was a little tough, they did not provide a knife for cutting so that was odd. Also ordered a side of garlic whipped potatoes and could not taste any garlic. It was so bland, we couldn't even eat it. Mai tai was just ok. Ordered rock on the beach for dessert and it was like everything else... disappointing. We tried! Normally I'm not picky and am easily satisfied, but I think here you're just paying for the location. Which is beautiful but honestly I would have rather ordered food to go elsewhere and sat on the beach lol. Still rated a 3 because service was great, they provide some extras for celebrating our anniversary which was a nice surprise. But would I come here again? No thanks.
This was the perfect spot for my mom's birthday and our last night on Kauai! Our waitress Darla was fantastic and recommended some great dishes. I love that everything at the bar is made by scratch. Fishes were fantastic and fish so fresh! We want to come back. Thank you!!!

The restaurant is situated on the beach. The service was excellent, our sever was personable and attentive . We would recommend trying the caprese salad. The ricotta cheese was to die for. The seared ahi was world class.
