Sad to see another business go ): this place was the best local coffee spot, it had a different atmosphere than most and their pastries were so ono. I hope we can see them make a comeback again

It’s a can’t miss place on Kauai. My husband went to bed dreaming about the sausage pastry. So glad it was our first stop our first morning because then we knew to make it our first stop every morning. Incredible homemade pastries and great coffee.

Oh my! So good, so nice and open in the actual morning. I’m absolutely obsessed with the sausage rolls, pork buns and well just about everything. Thank you for starting my mornings off right.

A sweet, very happening little spot with tables and a line stretching almost to the door at 8:15am. My sister and I came for their famed malasadas and were touched to *magically* find exactly two left when we got to the counter ;) !! The malasadas were perfect--light, soft dough covered all over with sugar. Just a little dough ball of heaven! The pizza rolls were also incredible--light and flaky with the perfect amount of toppings. But best of all was the service. The three folks who helped us were so genuinely sweet, kind, and welcoming. You all truly made our day, so thank you!!! We can't wait to come again

This is a relatively small carry out restaurant. They carry a variety of authentic Hawaiian food. My husband alway gets the Kalua Pig and I always get the Pork Lau Lau (chunks of pork wrapped in taro leaves and then steamed). They and the macaroni salad are onolicious!!!

We tried the Poke and Pork plate which was delicious! The pork was tender and flavorful! We also had the poke and fried chicken plate! Yet another delicious meal! I recommend trying both

Awesome poke here. Smelled the food and saw the line outside. Talked to a few locals and glad I went in. Food tasted great. Would highly recommend.

This was genuine Hawaiian food! Delicious. The staff were very good to explain the various plates that were offered, which helped us make our choices. We had the fried chicken, pork Lau Lau, crab poke and scallop poke. The tastes were new to us, but we found the food tasteful and the people friendly and eager to help us discover true Hawaiian cuisine.

Love it when places are open for early risers and you can eat light with a good beverage and a pastry.Friendly place for friends to meet.

On our second to last day on Kauai, I was scrambling to find a place with malasadas cause we had gone the whole week without trying any! I found this place, and saw you could reserve a dozen by calling. It was perfect since we couldn't get there til a bit later in the morning. The staff was all super friendly. Ambiance was a typical bakery with some local food items and coffee.- Malasadas (4/5): They were baked fresh, your classic malasada without filling. Super doughy with sugar on the outside. Delicious! I do love them with filling though, so I wish they had that as an option.

My son and I came here for breakfast while on vacation. The staff were super nice and helpful. I think it's a mother and daughter and mom was just a bundle of positive vibes. We got lattes and some pastries and sat near the entrance. I was looking at the photos on the wall and realized that the old man sitting near us was in the photos. "Hey, is that you in the photo?"He nodded sagely with a smile. We chatted for a minute or two, I'm always interested in the local perspective wherever I go. Good chat! I went to the (very clean) restroom and when I returned, there was another man sitting with the first guy. We chatted too. Slowly over about 20 minutes, the front of the shop filled up with 5-6 of these older, local, retired men. Apparently they meet here most mornings and "talk story" (It's a Hawaiian expression that means something like shooting the bull) before moving on into the rest of their day. I got some good local lore about chickens, recommendations for restaurants that are popular with locals, and even a history lesson on Hawaiian immigration. It was a highlight of my trip to Kauai. I highly recommend this coffee shop. Come early and talk story. Huli pau!

Coco puff with chantilly was fresh and really, really good. Daughters don't have to bring from Honolulu when they come to visit anymore. And price just right. ??
