First stop right off the plane. Craving a good loco moco and some island garlic shrimp. Threw in their fried chicken and were in heaven. Clean tables, helpful staff. Will definitely return.

AMAZING, amazing.. just amazing. The Ahi Katsu is the best thing i have had in years!!! I can’t imagine anything else being served at this place being anything but good. Take oir vibes, not really a sit down place, but it was perfect for me! The girls working there were a lot of fun and helped me out finding some good beaches nearby!

Ate here four times during our vacation for a good reason. We tried several different dishes: butter garlic shrimp, loco Moco, ahi Katsu, the Hawaiian plate, and the Kalua pig and cabbage plate. Each were delicious and tasted like home cooking. My fave was the butter garlic shrimp. Definitely the best on the island. Ten thick, tasty shrimps swimming in enough sauce to block all your arteries. Incredible. I'll miss you.

Definitely no saimen anymore, no broth, no soup and noodles. They've "rebranded" and the food that is available is actually very good. We got the Poke and Fried Chicken combination, and they were cool enough to offer greens instead of mac salad, and the greens came with a gingery sharp salad dressing that was delicious.
The chicken was real chunks of great dark meat chicken with the skin still on, and it was well marinated, deep fried super crisp, and sauced with a spicy, tasty, not hot, sweet sauce that really satisfied. The sesame seed and green onions were great accents. The poke had huge chunks of fish, and there were two sauces, one creamy the other soy sweet, and there were the good poke elements of plenty of onion and other goodies. It's funny to talk about the rice, as everyone has rice, but this was fluffy, soaked up everything it touched rice, which was the perfect compliment to everything else.
They also had plenty of ube and lilikoi cheesecakes, helpfully labeled for the tourists as "sweet potato" and "passionfruit" flavored. Lovely little things that were rich, not too sweet, and the perfect size to keep all to oneself.
Great, local food, served up for anyone that walks in.

Was so excited to try this place based on the reviews. Very Very long wait because all the called/online orders. I should've ordered before I got there. Ordered to go the famous spicy chicken but when I took order to go only ended up with just plain fried chicken with some green onions sprinkled on top. It's crispy pretty good chicken but there's no spices, no salt, no pepper or sauce (?). Fried noodles were meh. Maybe they forgot the sauce. Also, no siamin. The nice gal at the counter said they haven't had for years so online menu is not correct.

Best burgers on Kauai, live in Kilauea and will still chose to come here over anywhere else! Great prices and great service. If you call in you don’t even need to get out of the car, they have a window you can pull up to! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Please open up one on the North ? you guys would kill it

It was incredibly delicious and I will dream about the Ahi Katsu for a long time. I wanted to eat there a third time shortly before our onward flight but unfortunately it was still closed. We can only recommend it

I don’t normally do this but I’m pregnant and angry. Food was alright; even though the order was wrong and they were completely unwilling to help. It would be an extra charge to get me the correct food that I ordered. After that, they argued with my husband and tried to charge him a 1/4 oz of ranch that we were already supposed to have. My husbands food was cold and stale after waiting for 30 minutes. All of that on top of the fact that we watched as they served people who came in after us. They clearly think a lot of themselves after being on a show for Guy Fairy, and are only about the money that could bring in.
