Service and atmosphere was great but the food was just alright. It wasn't bad. It was good. But it wasn't great. The staff however were super friendly and the wait time was very short.

Pros: great shrimp, yummy dressing, friendly person took my order, nice outdoor bench area
Possible improvements: salad leaves were old, potato mac salad lacked flavor, eyelash in my rice, and the person who brought out my food told me I had to go inside to get utensils so I had to carry my stuff back to look for them (vs another table shortly after was offered to have the utensils brought to them)
But worst of all, they were mean to a lady carrying banana bread :(((( She seemed like a hard worker, and I understand why she shouldn’t be selling at another business but the way they told her was rude, and someone else followed her out and they got in a loud argument, ruining the ambiance of the outdoor patio since everyone heard. Not sure who those people were telling her to go away, probably the managers/owners, just please

Tried the habanero chicken and it was soooooo good! It had the perfect kick to it. The grilled mahi mahi was also excellent even with just butter melting on it👌🏼. TBH, everything else on the menu looked good. I would absolutely go back to try different menu items.

The food is amazing. Don't let the 2 tacos fool you, they are massive and pack a ton of flavor. The Mahi fish plate was delicious and cooked perfectly. The ahi tacos, raw, were spectacular and very shasharableA must when youare in Kauai.

There’s this place called the Sleeping Giant Grill, and it’s a real gem that you absolutely have to check out! Now, I know the menu might not be the biggest in the world, but trust me, every single item on there is absolutely fantastic. Seriously, you can’t go wrong with anything you choose!
The last time I visited, I indulged in a delicious bean and cheese burrito, which was paired perfectly with a fresh side salad. It was such a satisfying meal, and I was in food heaven! I also couldn’t resist trying their mouthwatering teriyaki chicken plate, and let me tell you, it was out of this world. The flavors were just spot on, and I couldn’t be happier with my choices.

This place is near to my airbnb by short walk, and it suggested by my tour guide. I had green tea matcha with coconut milk, and my husband had capuchino. With banana bread, and mochi donut. It's delicious & good choices!
