It’s taco Tuesday! So we went looking for tacos and found this small little taco shop with seating inside for maybe 12 people? There’s some outside seating too and the chickens that hop up on your table are an added bonus (at least my kids thought they were).
Huge tacos… as they should be for that price. The lady at the counter suggested that if this is our dinner then people tend to order 2. We aren’t big eaters and I only finished half of each of my tacos. I ordered the Royal Hawaiian with pork and the Best Fish Taco (mahi). Both were delicious! Nice thick homemade tortillas. The queso fresco and cream drizzle are tasty and definitely added to the flavor profile of the tacos. Kids & hubs also ordered beef tacos, surf & turf, shrimp taco, chorizo loin & the tiki fried pork taco. All were good but hubs liked the fried pork best.

Average fish tacos. I wish the hand made tortillas were better. I was really excited for them but they ended up just being ok. The tables are practically in the parking lot. The people behind the counter were fantastic though!

this placed was recommended because of my gluten allergy and this place is all gluten free. KUDOS for that!!! but it was the slowest service ever- we waited over an hour for 2 tacos. there were 3 parties ahead of us, one man even went up to the counter to ask how much longer. the tortillas were almost like pancakes, very very thick. the tacos themselves were good, just definitely on island time with the service!

Umm YES to this place! Get “the best fish taco” & the kalua pig. So freaking good!! Also they’re big. One filled me up. Honestly probably the best tacos I’ve ever had and I’ve had A LOT of tacos! Don’t miss this place!

We didnt even leave the restaurant yet and I felt like I had to leave a review. This has been the BEST food we had on the island. The tacos were massive and so filling. They were so flavorful as well! The hot sauces were made inhouse and were delicious. We will be back for sure!

Exceptional tacos, everything house made. Very flavorful. We ate here thrice on our 10 day trip. They have 2 locations, one in Kapa’a and the other in Waimea. The Kapa’a one is busier.
Bard’s a great guy and recommends the best tacos on the menu.
Kahuna fish, pollo cabron are the ones to try if you like spicy stuff..

Very good tacos. I was in another taco place. But the young lady didn’t greet us and said nothing to us. Very bad service. We left and I am so happy to find this place. Great service and the tacos were delicious.

BEST TACOS. Out of all the tacos I’ve had in my life these are for sure the best ones. The homemade tortilla is SO AUTHENTIC & SO YUMMY! Not to mention the yummy meat. Can’t stop talking about it. Wish we had a tiki tacos closer to us. Wish I would’ve tried it on our earlier Kauai trips. BIG FAN ??????
They are serious about tacos. Got the True Imu Kalua pork taco and it was delicious, crispy, and filling. Handmade tortillas and a super friendly vibe really made for a perfect meal. Going again tomorrow!
