This place was highly recommended via web searches and that proved very true. We had never tried shave ice before. I had the Dragons Blood and my wife, the Lave Flow. Both were excellent and a great way to cool down on a hot day. Highly recommended.

I ordered the strawberry flavor, but when I tasted it, it tasted of medicine. This pretty much ruined my experience here. I just got the plain ice cream, and it tasted like marshmallow. I liked it

Everything was delicious. I recommend the Ube and lava flow. The triple coconut was missing some flavor but they are happy to add extra if needed. Best shave ice on the island!

This was the best shave ice I've ever had and the best on Kauai and better than any I had on Oahu. The texture is so light and fluffy yet it does not melt too quickly. Their syrups and flavors were so fresh! The kids absolutely loved the rootbeer float but my favorite was the lava flow, the Haupia foam was so good and a cool touch. Definitely a 10/10, I would make it a point to visit if I'm on the island again.

I absolutely love this place. My favorite place in Kauai by far. I stayed in Kauai 7 days and went here 6 out of the 7 days. For the day that I didn't have this place, I tried Jojo's shaved ice, and I wished I went here instead. If you want someone more artificial when it comes to taste, Jojos is your place. The reason why I love Wailua shaved ice the best is how natural the flavors are. It comes with fresh fruit as toppings which is why it can't get better than that. I tried something new everyday and there was not one flavor I didn't like. My favorite was the lilikoi cream with haupia foam and ice cream; coming in second was the triple coconut with li hing mui powder. The service was also a plus because all workers were friendly and the service was fast. There is not a single complaint that I have for this place and it makes sense on why they've won an award almost every year. This is a place I will be craving when I'm back at home.

Wailua Shave Ice place serve Ono Shave Ice with their Haupia Foam. It's a great treat for a hot sunny day or a complimentary dessert after some hawaiian food. Beach, touring, road tripping around the island, whatevs, just stop on by for some Shave Ice. Cant go wrong with the haupia foam. It was ONO.
First off, this place is not a choose your shave ice flavor and toppings. It is pre built shave ice combinations with only a few flavor choices if you just want flavor. With that said we ordered Lilikoi cream, cookies and cream, and calamansi. The Lilikoi cream was a Lilikoi cream syrup with sweet Lilikoi seed toppings. A little disappointed this wasn't sour but very sweet. The cookies and cream my daughter liked. The calamansi one reminded me of the vitamin c tablets you get at the drug store. I don't think it tasted like fresh calamansi which was also disappointing. The ambiance was great considering a lot of shave ice places are outside and hot. This one had bench seating inside with AC. A great place to relax after the beach. The location was good for other food places, shopping, and parking. There is also a Safeway next door for any purchases you may need.

Hands down the best shave Ice I've ever tasted. Service was amazing and very helpful in helping you make a decision and really see what you'd like. Atmosphere in here was pretty amazing as well as this place is very open and you can literally see them making your shave ice from start to finish. I was very impressed at how well everything paired with each other and not to mention their in house special sauces that to me is what set them apart from any other shave ice place I've ever been to. Waialaua shave ice keep doing what you folks are going because you folks are definitely doing something right with every single one of your products. mahalos to the staff you folks very phenomenal.
