There’s a reason why all the locals are here on the weekend. Chicken katsu with the gravy is incredible and the oxtail saimin is a warm, soulful hug. If you like spicy food, ask for some Hawaiian chili to go with all the meat.
Everyone there is so nice. A lot of the people coming in seemed to know each other and the staff, which contributed to a great, friendly and laidback atmosphere. I got the teriyaki chicken breakfast plate, and it was so tasty; I’ve never had teriyaki chicken with that particular flavor before, and it was delicious.

We stopped by here to pick up some breakfast. Definitely much cheaper and better quality food than most other places.
I was told by one of the exiting patrons that it is the only place to get Liver and Onions. If we have time before we leave, we will have to try it!
