Met Emmerich several years ago while on our alternate year visits to Kona. He's quite knowledgeable and an interesting story teller. His coffees and Mac nuts are wonderful!A must visit when on the Big Island!

What an amazing experience! Having lived on big island for 3 years when I smell kona coffee being roasted it takes me away like few other things I know in life. This company has a gigantic following a cross the world for their wonderful coffee, while visiting today I had the pleasure of meeting emerich and Maggie i bought some medium roast and am better for having met them both. They ship coffee so I'm including their information. Kona coffee is a favorite if not #1 for me so I highly recommend trying some.
This place was suggested to us by our Airbnb host. Initially we were hesitant, as we had a little trouble finding it (as Emmerich, the owner and operator said, “it takes an act of God to find us!”) and overall the store has a humble front. BUT: we got a full run-down of the basics of coffee, how to store it, the process of roasting it, and seeing the coffee in all its different stages. The coffee was excellently priced (we got five pounds). If you get the chance, and can find this place, we highly recommend going!
