Stopped here on a whim for some shave ice and was pleasantly surprised! Folks working at the truck were super friendly. The syrup on the shave ice was made with real fruit!!!! We tried mango + lemon and blueberry + lemon and both were delicious. Also you can’t beat 3 shave ice and a fizzy water for less than $20!

We were searching for a place to eat before our flight, and this was our choice. The Chicken Katsu was amazing! That was definitely a highlight, and the fries! The staff are incredibly friendly and nice. The food was amazing, with nice flavor and texture to it all. The environment was peaceful and we even got to dine with some roaming chicken nearby! The local kids who are family to the cooks are so cute and so nice! The food was so good to the point that we asked for more and they even gave us sushi that was ON THE HOUSE! I really love this restaurant and believe me, it's worth a try!

I have lived in rural Kona most of my life. There's not many really good places to eat. Especially affordable ones. The food at Oz Kitchen is fresh and beautifully prepared. Hard to believe it's a truck. My fave is the vegetable tempura.

Great roadside "food truck"! Locals seem to love it which is always a good sign. Not much for vegetarians though which is pretty normal unless you're in Hilo. Try the Spam Musibi as an appetizer to share!
