Always consistent and well made, home cooked meals. Amelia is a thoughtful chef with a wonderful seasonal menu that reflects local goods.

So accommodating. Great with food allergies and kids. Delicious. Worth the stop. But make a reservation.

While visiting Kona I ate at the Strawberry Patch twice. Our first experience was incredible. Fresh, creative plates and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to some incredible dishes! Our second visit was just as wonderful. Soup of the day was a Coconut Sweet Potato Bisque - the way the flavors blended was delicious! Overall wonderful experience, I highly recommend! And kudos to an incredible chef and kitchen, they truly make up this hidden gem!

The service and food at Strawberry Patch is always excellent. It's a must-visit everytime I go back to the Big Island. The mac and cheese and baked brie are my favorites, and the beet salad is scrumptious. The patio is nice, but there is substantial traffic noise. The interior is adorable and serene.

We had our wedding catered by Amelia, and was a little nervous since we were doing a destination wedding and could not do a tasting in advance due to our time constraints. She definitely exceeded our wildest expectations, the food was amazing, her staff was very professional and kind. Our guests can't stop talking about the food, my maid of honor's boyfriend said it was his favorite part of his whole week in Hawaii! We definitely recommend her catering!

Really average Italian food. Disappointing because this place was recommended to us... but we have far better Italian cuisine in Sydney Australia. So over priced too.

This is a great little restaurant between Captain Cook and Kailua. We ate there three times during our vacation, the food was just to good to pass up. The mac and cheese is incredible, and the salads are the best I've had on the island!

By far my favorite little restaurant in Kona. It seems as if a old cute home has been turned into a restaurant! The food is excellent. My favorite is the shrimp with red sauce and crapes with the gooey bread on the side and there lightly breaded chicken with angel hair and lemon butter sauce with crapes so juicy!!!! The atmosphere is great come here on a nice night. 5 big stars

What a gem! We had an amazing dinner here with delicious appetizers and great curries. There is great patio seating as well as lots of space indoors. Service was wonderful and welcoming. We will 100% be back and recommend to family.

Excellent pasta, very good desserts. Suffers from nearby highway noise from cars rushing by. Very kind and thoughtful staff that accommodated our justifiably demanding senior

Just off the highway, the Strawberry Patch is a healthy and fresh place to stop for a meal. The food was great and service was genuine. It was worth the stop.

Delicious food friendly staff and large portions. The food was classically presented. I ordered the chicken picatta and got exactly what I expected

Bottom line: don't bother, one of the worst dining experiences on the island, including fast food. Full review below.

We spent here 2 dinners. During first evening we fell in love with goat cheese bruschatta and pomidoro pasta. They were so delicious! Pasta with fresh tomatoes, fresh basilic, peices of mozzarella, garlic and olive oil - explosion of taste. I couldn't forget it, so we came back again. We also tried caprese salad, bbq pizza, mac&cheese pasta. Everything was very good - made from fresh products, with a lot of taste and well presented. Prices are moderate and matching the high quality you get. Service is very friendly. Though first evening it was quite long waiting time. Definitely recommend to try this place, especially for dinner - they have a lot of 'light' options. Note: not big choice of drinks, no alcohol is served, but can bring with you.
