We visited Coconut’s Fish Cafe at the Azeka Shopping Center on December 4th, 2025 around 6:00 PM, and honestly, we had a really nice time. The place was clean the moment we walked in — tables, floors, everything looked well taken care of. It has a simple, relaxed island vibe that makes you feel comfortable right away.
The service was quick, and the staff kept things moving smoothly even with a steady flow of people coming in. Our food came out faster than we expected, which was great.
We tried the Coconut Shrimp, the Kalua Pork Plate, and the Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi Plate, along with Aloha Maid juice, guava nectar, and a soft drink. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were good, and the flavors were light and easy to enjoy.
Overall, we walked out happy. It’s a clean spot with fast service, decent flavors, and a laid-back feel a solid choice for a casual dinner in Kihei.

Very nice workers, very small portion of fish for the price. Two small, thin pieces of mahi mahi (although they were fresh) was not worth $25 after tip. They offer kamaaina but did not know until after I had paid.

We landed and drove to our resort and went to Coconuts the service was good and the man at the counter was friendly and there to answer you questions. I got the Fish Chowder and the fish and chips, my wife got the taco mango salad with chicken. the food was great.

Fantastic fish tacos! We had coconut shrimp along with our fish tacos and they were all delicious. A little dragon sauce on the shrimp gave it a perfect touch. We ate on the upper floor patio and enjoyed the sunset. Staff were great, service was excellent and food was fast and fresh. A perfect choice for families.
Awesome Gluten free fish tacos!!!! Additionally, the rest of the food - mac nut fish, coconut shrimp were also great. Loved it.

The fish taco is amazing with fresh ingredients including island fruits and grilled fish chunks. It's a meal in one and. We also had the pork sandwich that had lots of delicious piggy meat.

I'm giving Coconuts 3 stars for a few reasons. The service was great, and the food tasted great. However, the portions were very small for the price. I got the pulled pork meal, and it did not fill me up, and I'm a small dude.
My fiance got the fish and chips, only got two pieces of fish and a ton of fries.
Overall, i was unimpressed because of the amount of food for the price
