After exploring a few bakeries, we chose Maui Wedding Cakes because they seemed the most fresh, authentic, and unique. Casey was incredibly helpful in guiding us through flavor options. We selected vanilla cake with vanilla Italian buttercream frosting and whipped cream custard with lilikoi (Hawaiian passionfruit) filling. The cake was delivered to the restaurant where we had dinner after our ceremony, and it was stunning. When we took the first bite, we were amazed—it was hands down the best cake I’ve ever tasted. “I don’t really like or eat cakes in general because they’re often too dry or too sweet but I ordered one for our wedding because of tradition. Rustic Roses had amazing reviews and when I ordered; Jackie made the process so easy and she was very communicative with me. Day of, our cake was delivered and when it came time to try and eat it, it exceeded my expectations. We ordered the dark chocolate with liliko’i and it was the perfect blend of chocolate richness with the tanginess from the passionfruit. I ate so much cake for the first time in a long time! Our families left no slice to spare. The cake was also decorated so beautifully and the price was unbeatable.
