Friendly food truck with delicious baguette sandwiches! Ours were very good even if the baguette lacked crispness (but it's difficult to make the same bread as in France!) Salty addition however, 25€ for the sandwich with the tips is a little too much!

OMG I was so excited to learn that there is an Argentinian-Hawaiian fusion food truck in Maui! (I am Argentinean) I tried the vegan (tofu) choripán, aloha style (with grilled pineapple and mango salsa) and it was SO good! It definitely exceeded my expectations! They seasoned the tofu the way Argentineans season their chorizo (choripán is a chorizo sandwich, or literally chorizo plus pan AKA bread, a very common and traditional street food in Argentina) and it was so flavorful and yummy. The toppings added the perfect amount of sweetness and tang. The side salad was huge and also delicious. I can’t wait to return and try other variations! And of course, the chimichurri is a must. I brought the leftover chimichurri sauce to slather on my bread back at the condo. I’m drooling! Also the ambiance of this food truck court/patio area is adorable. Highly recommend!

We tried the lomito and milanesa at El Carrito, and both were fantastic—I couldn’t decide which one was better! The food was incredibly tasty, and the flavors were spot on. The staff were very friendly, adding to the great overall experience. Highly recommend trying this spot for delicious food and excellent service!

We came to this truck excited for the reviews. Coming from South American roots, I found the food average for the price. But I wanted to write this review specifically for the service. When I was ordering, a very rude blond guy gave me attitude because I asked for one of the sandwiches without some ingredients for my kids. The guy was clearly annoyed by the request and in general it was not a friendly person. My bill for 3 sandwiches and drinks was almost $80 so pardon me if I ask for not onions. This is the type of people that ruins the experience . Two stars for the lemonade and the atmosphere.

I ordered their 3 for $18 empanadas, all 3 flavors and they were delicious! My favorite was their beef empanada, it was to die for!? These empanadas can easily be a meal or an appetizer. I totally recommend it! ?
