Unfortunately, this place is closing in a few weeks and reverting to only wholesale ops, but if you're lucky to get in here before they close sometime on 1/25 or so---come by and eat some of their fresh fish! I enjoyed a poke bowl, while my friends got the coconut shrimp as well as the seafood chowder with garlic bread. Everything was super fresh and delightful. The place is super tiny, but you can count on fresh fish for poke from this little restaurant.

One of the best meals we had on our trip to Hawaii. The seafood chowder is as good or better than any seafood or clam chowder I have ever had, the fish and chips were homemade and hand cut as were the fries and cooked to perfection... with a ton of tartar sauce to dip into and the Ahi Poke was as good as the poke shack and broke da mouth and any high end fine dining place!

I'd never tried poke before and wasn't disappointed. It was very good. I'll have to try sone others to see how it compares. I wasn't really impressed with our waitress. She made us feel like we were bothering her. We did enjoy the singing coming from the cook staff. I like to here people having fun at work. Would recommend.

Great service. Came here today. Despite how busy it was, the staff was efficient and very friendly. Got our food fast (15-20 min wait) and even a table to sit inside. Poke bowls were good and filling. Coconut shrimp tasty. As well as tempura shrimp and chips. The chips - the tastiest I've had recently. Very nice cozy small place. Nicely decorated with the sea and pirate themes. Thank you for the great experience.

Great spot for lunch. Always fresh/great tasting. They make an amazing fish and chips plate that you can enjoy outside on one of the tables. Parking can be tight, especially right at lunch. This is one of our favorites for a quick, yet satisfying lunch, prices are not bad either.

Overpriced, poor quality, chowder was pathetic, embarrassing. Like library paste. Fish was Sally with no taste. Place is filthy and smells like lysol. How do they stay in business ?

We saved Eskimo Candy for our last day in Maui and it did not disappoint. The poke bowl is just as awesome as other Yelpers explain - it's a huge serving served with poke 4 ways, with cucumber and seaweed salad, all over rice. The poke is amazing, fresh, flavorful...but the rice! I was living for this rice. It was almost creamy. I loved it. They have some benches and tables outside if you want to enjoy your food there. Don't skip Eskimo Candy!

We came here for lunch, and this was the worst poke we've had on Maui (didn't taste as fresh as other poke we have tried). Although the price was reasonable (~$17), portions were generous, and service was good, I cannot recommend coming here for the poke. We didn't try their other food, which might be better.

Cool little place with an interesting vibe inside. Prices are reasonable. Food was ok, but didn’t blow my mind. Would give 3.5 stars if I could. I heard their poke was very good, but we didn’t get any ourselves this visit — maybe rating would have made the fourth star if we did.

Came for lunch today and had the most delicious poke bowl and seafood chowder. The poke was fresh and generous portion size. The 4 poke bowl was $17.99 and seafood chowder bowl was $13.95. More than enough for 3 people sharing 2 poke bowls and one seafood chowder. The chowder was loaded with seafood. I'm glad I read the reviews and came! You order the food at the counter. A 3 bar stool/tables inside and four concrete picnic tables outside. They are located in an industrial/business area but with making the drive for. Total of 8 parking spaces in the back including one for handicap. They also sell souvenirs t-shirts and caps. We had lunch about 12:40pm but by 1pm, line ups started to form. Closed Saturday and Sunday. Week days 10:30-4pm.

I came by for some afternoon poke to enjoy on the beach. I got the Poke Bowl ($17.99), which consists of all 4 types of poke plus the seaweed and cucumber salad. This is a good bowl that gives you a little bit of everything. I also got an extra 1/4lbs of the Spicy Ahi and Shoyu Ahi each. The service was good and quick. Plus, they nicely wrapped and packaged. The poke is good, but the fish is previously frozen. Overall, good poke with only 4 choices of flavor.

Get the poke bowl! Such wonderful flavors, so delicious! We also appreciated the cleanliness and the option for outdoor seating.

This is such a great place to get fish. There is a small parking lot next to the store. We ordered on the phone said ready in 15 min so headed over and was just ready as we got there. It is a small place with a few inside and covered outside tables. The clerk was so sweet chatting with us a few minutes as she rang up our food. We got the South Maui seafood pasta-it was SO good. A large serving easily shared by 2-had lots of shrimp/scallops/fish and 4 classic. The creamy garlic sauce was excellent. Loved the toasted garlic bread also. Highly recommend this place if you like fish.

I stopped in for a to-go order of peg leg platter and poke bowl. You can tell it's a popular place upon arriving and the wait wasn't too long for my food. The poke bowl was delicious and so fresh. I like that you get all 4 kinds of poke and it's nice and basic to really enjoy the fish. The flavors were all great and nice to try them all. The platter was tasty as well and everything was filling. The seafood and fries all had a great crisp to them and weren't soggy. The ono fish was still flaky and not dried out despite being fried. I thought the fries would be soggy or soft but loved the fry on them and ate them all.

Another spot we decided to visit twice while here! The poke is definitely something to write home about- but the real star of the show is the Ono fish and chips. My in-laws love fish and chips but were being good that day.. so of course I ordered it to share bc how can you miss out on Ono fish and chips? They have seriously not stopped talking about how good it was since. They're on their way here now with a fresh order. Definitely recommend this place! Poke bowls come with both the pokes on it. Solid choice as well.
