Breathtaking view and wonderful options for vegans and vegetarians. I had the beet poke bowl and was delightfully surprised at the depth of flavor. They also have a vegetarian sandwich with an au jus for dipping! I need to come back and try the vegan risotto.Very intentional vegetarian and vegan menu. I was impressed! Jessie the bartender was delightful!

Food was ok, fancy restaurant twists on all drinks and dishes was a negative. Ordered a Lava Flow and it was served on the rocks, not blended as expected. Ordered a Mai Tai and it came with coconut whipped cream on top, made the drink chunky and cloudy, not as expected. Ordered Caesar Salad and added Ahi that was 2ozs, add-on cost $38, and smaller than full anchovy fillets, not as expected. Additionally, Caesar dressing was one-note, thick, like bottled dressing. Ordered smashed burgers that were burnt black throughout, not as expected.
Also, menu noted that %2 added to check for staff… do you know what can add to the check and tip, is better food, just a thought.
Lastly, our waitress suggested AGAINST some menu items, like “no” to the fish sandwich, “it’s not good” and that a lot of “menu items will soon be changed”.
Beautiful location however, took pics, but we won’t go back.

This was a stand-out experience during our trip to Hawaii. We went last minute and they were very accommodating, found us a perfect table. The view was beautiful, and the ambience of the restaurant was excellent. They had service with a smile, and the food was outstanding. The upside down pineapple cake was AMAZING. The calamari, brussel sprouts, and burger was delicious. We ordered a pasta, which wasn’t at the same level of the other dishes, but was still good. Highly recommend! We’ll be back.

The service was wonderful, besides the hostess who just didn’t seem to want to be there that day. The bartender helped us get started with drinks and menu items since our server had every table there and was busy busy. It was very kind of her to help out and get us all set. Once we met our service she was amazing and kind. Wish I remembered their names. The food was just ok. Fish tacos could’ve used more flavor. The French onion sandwich was just ok. Too much bread but it was tasty. The fries were very good. My biggest issue was the flies. I enjoyed eating outside to see the wonderful view, but those flies were on us as soon as our food came out. I don’t enjoy swatting flies constantly while trying to eat. That reason alone bringing the review down. The place is beautiful , though. Great view of the ocean, flowers, landscaping and palms and inside Gather was absolutely beautiful. I would recommend this place.

Gather on Maui absolutely earned a five-star review. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, and the amazing views alone were worth the visit. Jay provided exceptional service--friendly, attentive, and genuinely knowledgeable--which made the whole experience feel even more special.

The food was incredibly fresh, with a diverse selection that made choosing just one dish nearly impossible. Everything I tried was flavorful and clearly prepared with care. Paired with the relaxed ambiance and those stunning island views, Gather on Maui delivered a dining experience that was both memorable and thoroughly enjoyable.

Seating was chaotic at best. A queuing system would be preferred. Music was great just a little loud only because we were sitting right in front of them Green bean casserole was cold. Not cooked properly and it seemed the heater underneath was not on. A little more variety in desserts not mostly pumpkin. I did like the little tarts. Service was sporadic- we had to pour our 2nd round of wine, table wasn't bussed until the end. Did I enjoy myself ? Yes will I be back , probably. This is just constructive criticism. Thank you

This was by far the best Thanksgiving experience I have ever had. The best food, the best view and best company. We will be going back!

The restaurant has a beautiful setting and it is really lovely to sit outside on the patio. I had the ahi tuna special and it was just ok. The service was very good.

Amazing dinner with a beautiful sunset. This place is spectacular and is great for a romantic meal or a group. The Mai Thai’s are second to none & the food is exceptional
