We got there early and were offered to be seated early or at or scheduled time. We opted for a drink at the bar first. Bartenders were informative about drinks, wine list, and happy hour bar menu, and were very attentive. Our waiter, Zach, gave excellent suggestions about the dinner options. My wife declared the butterfish the best seafood she's ever had. Sunset views were perfect.Update: with COVID mask restrictions lifted, we made a point of making a 6:30 table reservation, but arriving at 5 for drinks and appetizers at the bar. Had crispy calamari and Mongolian baby back ribs - both very good. I revisited the Magnum PI and tried the Two Weeks Notice - the latter being my new favorite. My wife had a refreshing Upcountry Love. Moved to a table on the balcony overlooking the ocean and sunset, both ordered the Misoyaki Butterfish and shared a Maui Pineapple Upside-down Cake. Lovely

This restaurant is in the Marriott hotel that’s why it’s getting four stars. I say that because it’s severely overpriced. Everything else about it is good including a great convenience, food, and atmosphere. But honestly, if you can find a way to get out of the hotel, I think you’ll get something more local and authentic for a better price and it won’t feel so commercialized, but with that being said, it’s still a great restaurant and view so go here but you know what you’re getting based on my review. I’m sure we will go here again because it’s convenient and the staff was excellent so that’s another positive.

We had such an incredible time. The calamari was so good. We also had braised short ribs and the seared blackened ahi. My bf is a trained chef from Wolfgang Puck who is typically very critical of the food. He said it was delicious food and sauces. The pineapple upside cake with ice cream was orgasmic. We'll be back!! Mahalo team for making our 2nd anniversary special and memorable. ❤️??

Restaurant is super nice with really great view. Staff was all super friendly from the hostesses to the busers/runners. Our server Anthony was awesome ! Super friendly and helpful and made my first time very memorable! We were celebrating my friend's birthday and they accommodated with a nice “happy birthday” written on a dessert plate. The food was all delicious and although pricey is to be expected, the taste isn't always comparable- but at this restaurant it definitely was ! Would definitely come again

We have dined here many times over the years and always was a great experience. Much different this time. Service very poor. Possibly we just had bad luck in the waiter chosen to serve us. We actually only interacted three times. Once talking our order. The second time he brought a dessert menu to be able to order early since desserts made to order and would take time. However,he never came back for the order. Last interaction was when he brought check. Other tables seemed to get good service. Ribs were good as always. Lobster tails not so good as on soggy side. The gentleman which brought food was nice and also filled water glasses for us. We have two more reservations here and will see how next goes and decide then if coming back

The restaurant has some beautiful ocean view tables. The food was delicious! I have a hard time eating fresh poke but this restaurant had such fresh tuna the sushi roll was amazing! We also had the butterfish which was so delicious, and so were the sizes that came with it but not sure it all worked together. But in the end It's definitely a must go when you're in Maui as everything we had we enjoyed.

Amazing!! Sat at the bar and George was our bartender and words cannot express our appreciation of his service ethic...food was amazing but the service by George will not soon be forgotten?

We have always enjoyed Roy's restaurants from his very first in Hawaii Kai, and wish he would return to Palm Desert. However, my experience at “Humble Kitchin”, Wailea was disappointing. I am a senior & had ordered ribs for my entree because I'm not a big eater, but a scoop of rice, if offered, would have been sufficient. The ribs were fatty & hard to cut through so ate 2, or maybe 3, but didn't enjoy them. Always loved your “triple entree” which I thought was your “signature” plate. Anyway, Mahalo!

This was our first experience at Humble Market Kitchin and it was consistent with our previous experiences with restaurants owned by Roy Yamaguchi. Good food, good ambiance, good service. No complaints... except for the high price!

We celebrated my husband‘s birthday. We had a wonderful dinner. He left happy and content. All he needed was a pillow and a blanket when he was done. Great service. Wonderful food. Our server Anna did a phenomenal job. Will be back again.

I'd been looking forward to eating at this restaurant for dinner awhile, so we finally decided to try it since breakfast was so good. Portions were very generous, but seemed overpriced for the experience. I had fish which was overly salted, but the short ribs were good. Our server was accommodating but seemed rushed. Maybe the restaurant is understaffed? Highlight was the pineapple upside down cake. Delicious!

We started with excellent pupus during happy hour. Enjoyed the ribs, Brussels, chicken and calamari. Everything was delicious and our server was engaging and efficient. The service overall was great, they have it down here. Dinner was filet, monchong with the amazing truffle couscous and short ribs. Everyone loved their meals and raved about a great dining experience. Finished with the decadent chocolate soufflé and pineapple upside down cake. Wish Roy would open a restaurant on the New England area!

We have been to Humble market many times. My sister is local. The food is always great, but last time the service was horrible. I am not sure if the waitress had too many tables or what the issue was. We had to ask for her on two occasions because we were out of drinks, and to pay our bill.
