We couldn’t help but keep ordering sushi rolls. This place was a local spot and soooo good. They had to roll us out of there. We sat at the bar and got to watch the chefs work their magic. White dragon, shrimp tempura, yellowtail… so many rolls that I can’t remember them all. Really good price and good service.

We just had an excellent experience at Isana in Kihei. We walked in and were sat immediately, they offered specials and gave us the menu. We ordered a short time later and the food came out lightning fast. We got a standard maki roll and one of the big ones, which was particularly excellent. We’ve had a lot of sushi on this trip to Maui and Isana was top notch. We also had the calamari which was hot and crispy and came with a bright aioli that paired really well. Lastly, we got the fish and chips. It was a very large plate with fluffy, battered whitefish (Mahi I think) and a pile of fries. Honestly, even the fries were good lol. Very crisp to bite into but soft and creamy inside. The fish also came with 3 sauces and some slaw.
Bottom line is, everything was delicious and fresh, it came out of the kitchen immediately, and our server was friendly and funny. I am happy to recommend Isana for fresh fish and sushi.
We were excited to try this place based on the reviews and recommendations we'd received. We did enjoy the food but it failed to impress us enough to return again. We preferred Miso Phat.

Went here on a recommendation from the concierge at our condo and I have to say that this restaurant was absolutely amazing. Our server was Anne and she was very helpful, provided recommendations and was very attentive. The sushi was so fresh and everyone we had was completely different then the last. We highly recommend going to this little gem! We will be making this restaurant a must visit when we come back. Thanks!

It's hard to find good sushi restaurants, and this is one of those places. The seafood is fresh, portions are a good size, the flavor is there, and the service was also good. We asked for a specialty roll, a normal roll, and the fried rice, which was too much for both of us. We like the place, and I will probably come back!

We had an amazing experience at Isana! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — especially the sushi rolls, sashimi, and crispy fried chicken appetizer. Our waitress was wonderful and made the evening even better with her great service and warm personality. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for enjoying great seafood and sushi right in Kihei. Highly recommend this spot!

We come here about once a month. It is a bit pricey but the sashimi quality is supposedly very good. Or so we thought. Extremely disappointed with our last visit. To start we ordered salmon sashimi, as we always do. It was stinky! Like this salmon was sitting out for at least a day. To make it worse waiter tried to convince us it was ok. We lost our appetite and it ruined our anniversary dinner. So much for advertised quality sashimi!
