The yellow tail appetizer was well prepared and good. The three of us were not in the mood for sushi for the mains so we ordered fired rice and two noodle dishes. The mains were also OK.. Lychee sorbet was icy but with great flavor. Highlight of the night was my daughters Mai Tai, very tasty.

Been coming here since back in the day when Andy owned it… back when it was more local secret than local Kihei hot spot.
Fast forward to now… still my go-to for sushi and Korean BBQ on Maui. Nothing else comes close.
Every plate… dialed. Every bite… worth the drive, even if you’re staying on the complete other side of the island.
The fish? Fresh in a way that makes you forget every “fresh” claim you’ve ever heard… The Korean BBQ? Layers of flavor that feel like they’ve been passed down for generations.
And the execution… flawless. From the service to the timing to the way each dish lands on the table like it’s meant to be there.
You don’t just eat here… you get reminded what great actually tastes like.
Isana isn’t trying to please everyone… they’re here to set the standard. And for me, they’ve done it every single time.

What a great find! Our group of 7 really enjoyed this restaurant. My wife is a picky eater when it comes to sushi and sashimi, and she said all the raw fish was very fresh. We also enjoyed several appetizers but the ribeye steak pupu was particularly tasty and quickly devoured. My omakase was perfect with large slices of fish including big eye tuna, fatty tuna, hamachi, and more. All fresh and delicious. We wrapped up with a giant slice of Kona pie, and should have ordered 2 or 3 of those for the table. Our server Elizabeth was so cheerful and friendly, and she checked on us often. Everything was great and we plan to return whenever we're on Maui!
