The owner of this establishment was disrespectful and condescending to a pregnant woman asking for lemons in her water that she offered to pay for. She had been there 3 days in a row receiving them. Then when she went to the bar the owner was taunting her about the request. She was in tears. She is also the granddaughter of a longtime Kihei resident. This incident was hurtful and the staff even noticed her crying and asked what happened. To the ownerDon't serve. The woman is my daughter.

The french toast was great, as was the cold brew. My friends got the bagel and eggs and the chilaquilas, which they said were good. I felt the woman taking my order was a little frustrated/irritated with me when I was confused as to what was in the coffee of the day and she didn't care to explain, so I just went with a plain cold brew in order to hurry myself along. The woman who brought the food out was super sweet.

This was our second time to Kihei Cafe, but our first time to their new location. Their menu continues to be delicious, we had their loco moco and their pork fried rice for breakfast. It is a staple place to visit for our family each time we are in Maui. Would highly recommend to our friends and family.

We got plenty of food and coffee for our group. We had some coffee left over and wanted to get it to go. This, we asked for a to go cup. Then the response was we have to charge $1 for a to go cup. This is after we spent close to $50 on coffee for our table. Amazing! Oh well…

Loco moco and cinnamon roll (French toast) are delicious! Coffee of the day is very worth it.

Back home this is what I call dennys. Here, it's what I call a tourist trap. the music is loud, servers yell your name loudly over the music and it is crowded with a lot of funky smells. I was hungry so I ate my dennys omelette with portuguese sausage and drank my coffee with the grounds in the bottom. they made it very clear I wouldn't get a refill on the coffee. $40 for two for breakfast. husband had a water, no drink.

We walked here from our condo and had an incredible breakfast. The kids were begging to go back every day for more. Ordering is done on entry and food is brought to the table. The host was incredibly friendly, upbeat and had a great sense of humour. We all enjoyed the macadamia nut and banana pancakes. I’m still craving them!
