The food was surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant, all of their sauces are house made. Our big complaint and reason we did not eat there more during our stay was that the drinks are horrible. Simply put, the bartenders need training. Every drink we ordered has far too much lime juice and was sour. When we specifically mentioned this and asked for something sweet, it still made no difference. Three different bartenders, same sour drinks. One day the bartender was nowhere to be seen for 10 minutes so we left.

Amazing service, food, drinks and sunset views. Kai Bar is a hidden gem in Wailea located at the AC hotel. We came back on a second night because we had such an amazing experience and sunset views. I highly recommend the Chicken Katsu sandwich and the Kai sliders. The servers did such a wonderful job both nights.

Found this place by luck and glad we did. Not a big menu but what they had was real good and great Mai Tais and cold beers. All in an outside open air setting and you get an awesome sunset. This place is great for light eating and sunset cocktails! !!
