First, the coffee was excellent. Then, we caught the owner while they were closing, and they were kind enough to still make me a coffee after a long day. They even came back out to meet my family and surprised them with a small gift. We’ll definitely be back.

Christmas day and long line but super quick and we ordered Coconut Americano with cream and Coconut Macnut latter both iced super good! The ratio is perfect in both! Will come back during our stays in Maui.

the coffee is super good and affordable, the staff is crazy friendly, the guitars and chess board are great touches, the native american statue makes me feel safe, and the AC is ice cold. i love it. i got most of my master’s degree done here.

Best coffee ever! We are coffee snobs and love Starbucks and this was way better than Starbucks went back to purchase beans and found out we can continue to enjoy cause you can but online. Super friendly staff! Highly recommend!!💜☕️

Great service and the iced mocha was one of the best I’ve had. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and did I mention one of the best iced mocha’s I’ve had. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. 10 Stars.

This coffee shop is the best on the island! Amazing local coffee and tea with the best atmosphere you could ask for. Eli was very knowledgeable of all the coffee and the drinks he made were spot on the flavor that my wife and I asked for. If in Maui it’s well worth the stop!!

Visited on our way into our Airbnb, although we arrived just 10 mins before closing we were greeted with nothing but love! Our coffee was absolutely delicious & Eli was super sweet to talk to. If I could transplant this coffee shop to my neighborhood I’d be a daily visitor but until then I’ll just have to make multiple stops a day before we head home!

My husband and I have been to Maui a couple times now and have gotten many beverages from Lava Java. We especially like the Ube coffee and the frozen mocha. The staff has always been kind and it’s a cute little shop with different areas to sit. I’d recommend it if you are in Maui!
