Signature frozen mocha is really good

Waited 30 minutes in line with only 3 parties ahead, just to get a mediocre and bitter cappuccino. The coffee tasted amateur. Starbucks would be better. The wife was juggling both orders and drinks while the husband just chatted and played ukulele. Just not worth the wait. Disappointing start to my first morning and first coffee in Maui. Google maps shows many coffee options nearby, skip this one!

Cute store, good location and good coffee!

Went to several coffee shops during our vacation before trying here. Wish we found this sooner! Best coffee we had on Maui and best banana bread on the island. Seriously, better than two places we tried on Road to Hana!

Walked in and walked right back out when I saw the prices. Supporting local business doesn't mean the $8 average cost of coffee is justified. Especially when coffee is roasted on site. That's absolute theft.

Best coffee shop on the island! The caramel, macnut mocha breve is to die for! Staff is also super friendly, and nice!

I cannot say enough good things…. I love this coffee shop, I am genuinely sad that I will not be able to get it everyday at home. We got a banana macadamia nut flavored iced latte everytime we came! It was the perfect amount of coffee with a touch of sweetness and the flavor was amazing. Staff were always very helpful and friendly and the inside of the coffee shop is so cozy and cute. I would come here everyday if I could!!

Lava Java in Maui never disappoints! The service here is fantastic—friendly staff always willing to help with great suggestions on things to do around the island. The coffees are absolutely delicious, and I couldn’t resist buying a few bags to take home. It’s a must-visit spot if you’re a coffee lover in Maui!

I love this place! The coffee is fantastic, and the staff is wonderful. It’s definitely the best coffee spot on Maui! I’ll stop by every time I’m here. Scott, the owner, is such an awesome guy!

Stumbled upon this gem on our honeymoon! Very, very friendly staff. Scott gave us plenty of great recommendations and let us try their famous Frozen Mocha for free! Was so good we came back two other times before we left for home! Had a great 4 for 3 deal with beans. Claims to be the only coffee shop in Maui that has 100% Maui grown coffee for a very reasonable price!

The vibes of the place are amazing, it has a unique energy! The service is great and there’s plenty of coffee options.
The owner is super nice and it seems he’s really passionate about his place, that makes the experience even more enjoyable.
Will definitely come back ❤️
