This place is AMAZING!!! Coffee is really good and the service is impeccable. Eli was very kind, personable and gave the best recommendations for coffee. This is definitely our favorite coffee shop. Eli you rock!!!

Place is amazing! Best Mocha Frappes and the only Coffee shop on Maui that has a chill spot with couches, games, and guitars!

ALOHA!! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! We were looking for coffee everywhere and we finally found the spot!! Delicious coffee!! Sophia was amazing! She made the coffee perfectly! And then….my Uce Scoot was DOPE!! Super friendly and chill and he even played a song on his ukulele. We ordered the Macadamia Nut Latte and a Vanilla Late DELICIOUS! Thank you guys for an amazing coffee break we needed!

Love the coffee and the vibe of this place. The lines are long but the coffee is worth the wait. They have baked and refrigerated food as well as a myriad of merch.

The coffee beans they use are out of this world. Best iced Latte I had in my life. Though, if you want to take those beans back home prices for ground and whole bean coffees are quite expensive. Around $25 for half a pound or so (even 1 lb would be very expensive at $25). Still worth coffee as takeaway, you'll love it 👍

Lavender matcha had a strong lavender taste but very milky.

As a tourist, this is likely your best option for coffee. Very kind staff, very good coffee, great atmosphere. The only downside to this coffee shop is that there isn't one in my hometown; every morning of our visit this is the first stop. Can not recommend this place enough to anyone reading this, give it a shot as im sure you will be coming back the next day.

Stopped by Lava Java and tried both the Macadamia Nut Latte and the Coconut Macnut Latte. The Macadamia Nut Latte was excellent smooth, rich, and had just the right amount of sweetness without being overpowering. Honestly, I liked it better than the macnut latte I had at Kraken Coffee.

The Coconut Macnut Latte was okay, but not as balanced or flavorful as the regular macnut latte. I also tried the almond danish, which wasn't the best, but next time I’d probably go for something like their banana bread instead.

Overall, this place has great coffee and is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Maui, especially for the macnut latte.

Genuinely the best coffee I’ve ever had. My brother and i randomly stopped by on our first day just cause we were craving a mid morning coffee, and we were both shocked by how good it was. I always judge cafes by how well they pull off an americano. Most are mid to fine…. None have ever rocked my world. Lava Java, however, did just that! I mean, i woke up and ran 6.5 miles this morning just so I could get a coffee from there cause I’ve been craving it since i had it the first time. I’m going to miss it!!! Give this coffee shop a designated spot on your Maui itinerary.

More a breakfast joint than a coffee spot. Most drinks come with artificial sugar syrup by default; even a plain iced macchiato took effort to order. Decent local beans, but the staff’s nonchalant attitude and somewhat dubious hygiene standards were off-putting. Better off at Espresso Mafia or brewing your own.

Cozy coffee shop that roasts its own coffee and serves its own brand. Many great coffee and food items. Also has POG slushies!

Staff is friendly and hospitable and takes time to get to know you and offer recommendations.

We love this place!! Their customer service has been amazing when shipping our orders and helping their customers out! They went above and beyond for us!! We love the banana coffee (whole beans) and make sure we never run out here in Arizona! Highly recommend!!
