We went here about 15 years ago and it was the best shave ice we’ve ever had. Came back this year and had a completely different experience. The employee was not friendly and seemed very cranky. We could not locate the ice cream in the bottom because there was so little. There were not many flavor options and nowhere near the options that Ululani’s provides. Very disappointing.

We were told Local Boys was the best shaved ice in Maui. You can get ice cream on the bottom they had this rich banana toffee that was unbelievable good. The tropical local flavors are the best Coconut mango and passion fruit. ? crazy good. ? support local business.

The moment we walked up to the counter Tye greeted us with a friendly smile and offered us a sampling of banana, coconut and macadamia nuts icecream that's too good for words! Shave ice was amazing too. Tye's a gem. Go try asap. So good we had to go back.

The guy serving the shaved ice was next level cool and just an all around people person.The shaved ice was good but the chocolate chip mint cookie with ice cream was unreal. Super friendly staff and pretty decent pricing so would definitely recommend to anyone near or on the strip looking for some local shaved ice.

Support local, the girl working the stand is super kind and works quickly. There is a potential for a line but that's what happens when your product is ??. They have a ton of flavors but I recommend the local fruit flavors and the coconut ice cream under the ice is killer. Healthy portions are offered but not to crazy. Never tried shaved ice before. Got coconut with macadamia ice cream on the bottom. It was good but not hype worthy. Lightly flavored which is usually my preference not overly sweet. They didn’t have smoothies or dole whip. I may have to try a different place next time.
