My review is based on three criteria: Ambience, quality of food and hospitality. If all three are taken into consideration, this Indian restaurant is in top three in entire Hawaii.

Vegetarian options: Worse food for vegetarian I have at this restaurant. No clean water glass and nans were very cold .

This is the worst Indian food we have ever had. We ordered Onion Bahji as an appetizer and it was basically deep fried pieces of onion. Stoggy and tasteless! Our main dishes were just OK. The worst was when the waitress bought my 2nd glass of wine in a glass with lipstick all over it! It is very pricy and we won’t be back.

Undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant with a view. While the service was unfortunately slow and seemed disorganized at times, the atmosphere was truly exceptional. The beachfront location offered stunning views that made for a picturesque dining experience. The food, however, was average. Despite this, I would still recommend Monsoon Grill for its unique atmosphere and scenic views, but with the caveat that diners should be prepared for slower service and average cuisine.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere! What a cool combination of Indian food for lunch and dinner, with a healthy American breakfast. Started off with really good, fresh made smoothies to take along a beach walk. Then had the Marsala, Curry, garlic naan and chicken sandwich for lunch - YUM! Along with a tasty beer and view. An açaí bowl was ordered as well “talk about a tasty dish with probably the best blueberries I ever had” was said. Highly recommend a visit. Bring your stomach!
Walked in, sat window side(they recommended reserving at least a day before as it is uncommon to get a window as a walk in) servers were friendly and prompt. Our toddler smashed the chicken padukas and lamb samosas, then fell asleep. Wife is gluten free and ordered the bread option and was pleased. The chicken tandoor and fish koorma were both great. Topping it off with specialized cocktails had us leaving full and happy we went in for dinner. We will be back next tripDietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free options. Not just salad

Ate here twice and was delicious both times. Recommend the Hawaiian Margarita, chilli paneer, chicken masala and fish Tikka. Amazing sunsets.
This is a hyped up place and so tried yesterday. Location was ok and some decent views if you sit by the window. Food was below average and service was subpar as well. If you don’t have any other vegetarian options, you can go here but there are plenty of other options within 20 mins drive.
As an Indian, craving Indian on vacation, as usual- really glad I found this place- right on the water, great views, got seats right by the window, helped by very friendly hostess. Food, fantastic- had meat samosa, chicken Tikka, and i think best lamb vindaloo and garlic Naan I've ever had!- and I think I must have eaten at a few hundred Indian restaurants! Our server Felix was fantastic as well!!
I ordered food to go via online. I paid $25 for chicken tikka masala plus additional $4 for basmati rice. Food was delicious but portion served was ridiculously low…..total rip-off for almost $30 paid. Will not order from this restaurant again.

This place was overall an amazing dining experience, with breathtaking ocean views, and truly authentic Indian food. Most of all, the service and the kindness and warm hearts of the staff was the cherry on top. The owner of the restaurant was very sweet and connected with us on a personal level, rather than just making small talk. The hostess from the moment we walked in was also very welcoming. I truly recommend this place if you like spicy food with a sweet view and even sweeter service!
