We enjoyed an amazing meal at Morimoto Restaurant on Maui Our server, Mike, was very attentive to our needs, gave great recommendations and very friendly. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented.
The food is always top notch. Our server was Mikie and he was great. The bar was off this night for some reason and took 40 minutes for a cocktail. Food came out fast! We were told it was a new bartender and he ran out of everything at once and had to restock. Plenty of servers just not bartenders. Highly recommend the restaurant for great and reliable eats.
My partner and I ordered the sticky ribs, buri bap, sashimi platter, and special of the day - a fried whole fish in a sweet chili sauce. We also had the premium sake flight and ube cheesecake. Dishes were plated well and food was generally tasty. We had no complaints, but at the same time we didn't find any main dish to be particularly unique or outstanding given the price point. The highlight of the meal for me was actually the cheesecake - it came with toasted coconut pieces...
