Customer beware: place may look empty and staff may be “on it” at first but the service will go down hill very fast. There were plenty of staff on hand, no one seems to be out and helping customers though. Our server was happy to spend more time behind the bar chatting and outside the bar again chatting. Our server came by once, didn’t bring plates for our food, or the dressing that we asked for. Honestly so disappointed in the service here. Food was okay, have had better. For reference we ordered half pepperoni and half Hawaiian, in which the ham tasted uncooked.

Penny's entrance is located in the back of the building, but don't let this keep you from enjoying their delicious pizza. Inside, you will find open air seating with views of the ocean to watch the sunset. Service was great with a very friendly staff.

Amazing food and service. Pizza tasted phenomenal. Above all, the ocean view was incredible. Enjoyed the early dinner so much!

We all went in hungry and came out full and satisfied. Mozzarella sticks were very good. Chicken Parmesan was the best dish we got, very solid. We wish they served it on a plate with pasta on the side, rather than on top of the spaghetti in a pasta bowl. It just made cutting the chicken cutlet a bit annoying. The baked rigatoni was good. I would just say that the "garlic" bread both dishes were kind of tasteless. A little more garlic and salt is definitely needed. The pesto was good as well, although very rich and strongly flavored. We did not try the pizza or dessert so we can't speak to that. The service staff moved fast but seemed a bit overwhelmed - as there only seemed to be three of them taking care of the whole dining room. We were all looking for comfort food and something to fill us up in an easy and casual atmosphere, and Penny's delivered on that.

Our family and friends had a good time at Penny's Pizza. It was great to sit and look out at the ocean. The food was good. This really liked what they had. But most of all the service was great! A friendly staff and a hard working manager, who also makes good drinks.

After enjoying Fred’s and Moose Mcgillycuddys a few times we were excited to try Penny’s but had a bad experience. Our waitress was rude from the start through the end of our short stay. I also had a cockroach crawl across my foot and through the patio. Despite plenty of outdoor dining in Maui this has never happened.
