Most of the chips expired years ago, horrible place
Agree with some commenters, although with grace. Food is fine, but very VERY oily. My aunt makes the best Filipino food that I prefer over hers, however, I’ve always loved her pork adobo over EVERYONE else’s. I am Filipino and my Filipino aunt always preferred other Filipino stores solely because the owner lady is not friendly. We come here when necessary and the owner/only worker has not been too friendly. Usually she doesn’t really smile or talk to you other than to say your total. Maybe she’s shy or introverted? Sometimes I see a flicker of a smile. I just chalk it up to her personality, i don’t hold it against her. (In fact, today she smiled at me for a while and said, ”have a good day!” Yay progress! 😆) most things are not priced so sometimes im nervous when I go to the register to see the total. Some things are over priced, but it’s hard out there for small business especially with online shopping now. Of the things that do have prices, they don’t always match at the register. On my receipts I noticed tax charged twice on everything. The price of the item when scanned includes the 4.xx% tax rate and then she adds an additional 4.xx% at the end. It could be something she’s unaware of? If not, I think it would be cool to have the price tag reflect the receipt price so it doesn’t seem sus. I’ve bought fresh veggies once which was wrapped in Saran Wrap and opened it 10 minutes later to see it was moldy. I know people make mistakes tho. It could have been an accident. Be sure to check expiration dates on frozen food. Also decluttering could help?
Good place your Filipino foods and groceries
Ordered a variety of food for lunch. The lady serving the food is very rude left a bad after taste. Food is just ok. Poor customer service will not return to support.
Had a great experience ordering 2 1/2 pans of food for a party. I came in the day before and ordered. The next day at 2PM it was ready and waiting. Friendly staff!
Awesome food
Food was really really good. Had the adobo and pancit. Will go back again when I come back to Maui. My wife loved talking to the owner, She is very nice.
Good local neighborhood store.
Horrible experience!!! Food wasn't fresh, my daughter threw up later that night after eating katsu. None of the prices and selections we found online were available. Lady at register kept telling us our bank cards were declined to force us to pay cash, not cool. We were on the island for 15 days and this is the only place that did this cash scam. Definitely felt like visitors to the island are not welcome here!
Very pricey. No price tags on any produce and 2 pieces of chicken from the hot food selection cost me 9 bucks.
Restaurantji Recommends
Overpriced never again!!!
They had Magic Sarap!
The lady serving our food was very rude. As a Filipino, we like to think that we all are the same and give the same generosity and kindness to all. However, this lady was exceptionally rude and arrogant. The food was average. She needs to be trained on how to properly display customer service etiquette. As a consumer and a proud Pinay, I do NOT recommend this place.
Bossman loves this place for lunch. Great food!
sometimes if you pay with card theyll say the price of whatever you bought but theyll charge a dollar or more than what they actually say and sometimes the milk and meat are rotten.
