The Ahi Poke Cones are the best tasting food I have ever had! The setting is unmatched, service is impeccable and drinks are delicious!
10/10 food 10/10 service and I went for a casual honeymoon dinner! I wish I remembered our servers name he was incredible!!
Spectacular service from Jeb at our family's ocean front table. Jeb made our night very special. Stunning food and cocktails. Simply the best here in Maui!
You are paying mainly for the view and the location here. We've dined at extremely nice restaurants and I can't say this was very memorable in terms of taste or value. The shishito peppers/mushrooms were a small serving (4 spoonfuls?) and over salted. The fish was just ok and you can find similar dishes on the island for half or 2/3 the price. The cocktails were quite good, however. I would be hard pressed to recommend Spago or return on subsequent trips for the price paid.
This was our first time to Spago & it won't be our last. The building is tucked back in an alcove, so despite driving by the area multiple times, I missed it prior. The architecture is stunning and open, providing inspiring views from nearly every step. I appreciate the text I received prior to arriving letting me know there was a slight chill and higher wind and a light jacket and hair tie were recommended. Classy touch. We were running late & the restaurant was very accommodating in shifting our table an hours later. When we arrived the staff was pleasant, but the highlight was our server assistant. We was respectful, nice, and genuinely sweet. We felt very well cared for. Unfortunately, we were sat next to a couple who were initially lovely company until the wife's food was served. She lost it! For the next 20minutes she yelled s out how terrible the fish was. She claimed it was frozen and ranted about co Ing to Hawaii for 50 years and never getting such a large cut. It was relentless. No one offered us a different table. No one brought the woman bread or a cookie. Ultimately she got herself so worked up, she stood up & walked out. The ms Agee then offered to open the window in front of us and clarified they never use frozen fish. My teenager ordered fish at my great reluctance and ended up literally licking the plate clean, so I understand it was delicious. I'd sort of lost my appetite from the incident, so I ordered a tomato soup. It was nice. I wish they would offer a greens salad. We did not room for dessert, but our waiter sent us home with a bag of cookies, presumably to apologize for the shenanigans we endured. The lounge was lovely and I look forward to trying it again. They did well allowing this woman to vent and leave — it was a very “Karen” experience & generally those don't go well for anyone.
I have been to this restaurant before and it was exceptional. The views are unmatched and the food was something we talked about after as our favorite on Maui. Unfortunately our meals weren't the memorable dishes from previous years.
They treated us amazingly during the tsunami warning! Thank you for staying open! The food was outstanding.
Server Andrea was amazing and extremely attentive. I ordered the red curry with scallops and shrimp. The scallop was extremely small and all the seafood was overcooked which is unacceptable given the price. But service was exceptional
Perfect evening to celebrate our 40th wedding Anniversary!! Wonderful service, amazing food and the perfect Maui sunset. Could not have been better. Thank you for an amazing evening with my wife!
We had a great meal at Spago. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The smoked salmon pizza and chocolate souffle were especially good.

Very disappointed with the service....water glasses sat empty for the entire meal. Food was delayed. Server blamed it on her bus boy not showing up for work. A poor reflection on the Four Seasons resort.
Dining at Spago in Wailea was an unforgettable experience. Nestled within the luxurious Four Seasons Resort, the restaurant offers a perfect blend of worldclass cuisine, warm aloha spirit, and panoramic ocean views that elevate every bite. We started with the Hamachi Tostada and the Salmon Avocado Roll both were incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The tostada had a perfect balance of citrus and heat, while the roll was delicate yet satisfying, with creamy avocado complementing the buttery salmon. For the main course, the Seafood Red Thai Coconut Curry was a standout. Fragrant, flavorful, and packed with perfectly cooked seafood, it brought just the right amount of spice and richness. The A-5 Japanese Wagyu New York Steak was next level indulgent ultra tender and bursting with umami. Paired with the crispy, golden Pommes, it was a luxurious surf-and-turf experience done right. The service was as flawless as the setting attentive without being overbearing, and always with a smile. If you're looking for an elevated culinary experience in Maui that highlights premium ingredients with thoughtful execution, Spago should be at the top of your list.
We had a wonderful experience. Everything from the moment we checked in, to when we walked out, it exceeded our expectations. Thank you.
Tyler did a great job handling our wonderful experience. Food is amazing. We will be having dinner there tonight. 3 times in 7 days . Beautiful location
I've been to Spago several times - it's a must do on my trips on Maui. However my experience last night was incredibly disappointing. A few things that went wrong: Seating. I was originally sat between the accessible ramp and the servers' station, far away from any other diners. I felt like I was in the middle of a prep area and not at the restaurant. I had to ask to move. Service. The server took my order and then did not return to the table until it was time for dessert / the check. He didn't inquire about another round of drinks nor did he ask how the food was. Food. Overall the food was good however I ordered an espresso to end the night that was extremely watery (tasted like a Nespresso). I also never received the complimentary bread (and since the server was MIA all evening I was not able to inquire about it). This experience is certainly much different than others I've had at the Four Seasons Maui. On this trip alone I ate at Ferraro's and DUO and both were excellent making this poor experience at Spago stand out even more.
