I’ve never experienced such magic as I have at this shop! It’s like you’re walking into fairy land! The cookies are spectacular and worth every penny. The woman at the shop was so kind and helpful. This is a must stop shop if visiting the area or just traveling through.

The shop is small and quaint. It's a dream for those who love the fantasy world. The cookies aren't particularly special. The cookie I purchased tasted nothing like what was described. It was more like an oatmeal butterscotch with toppings. The shop has a large number of handmade items that are not for sale, which is disappointing. Every thing I asked was about NFS. The local author's books were cool. I bought three. For me, the cookie hype is simply that. They're good, but not $7-$10 per cookie. Will I go back? Yes. However, I won't purchase a cookie. I’d give the cookie 3stars

Very small place, but extremely well organized. They offer a nice variety of products, including chocolate, honey, jellies, frozen items, and of course their specialty: cookies. The cookies come in different sizes—from sampler packs to individual and giant cookies. We tried five flavors: Oatmeal Peanut Butter Butterfinger, Lilikoi White Chocolate, Maui Mango, Chocolate Chocolate Chip, and Kona Coffee Chocolate Velvet.
Our favorites were the first two, absolutely delicious with a great explosion of flavor. The mango one was a bit underwhelming, and the last two had a very strong chocolate flavor. We were expecting more coffee notes in the Kona Coffee cookie, but the chocolate was quite intense.
Each cookie is 6 oz and costs around $7.”

As a self proclaimed Cookie Monster, the Maui Cookie Lady was on my “must visit” list during our family trip to Maui and the store did not disappoint, and neither did the treats! The shop had such an adorable whimsical aesthetic filled with amazing cookies and treats. If you have a sweet tooth like me, this must be on your “must visit” list as well. I especially loved the the Da Half Baked giant 10 oz cookie and the ultra decadent peanut butter triple chocolate salted caramel brownie but there’s so many options for every preference!

Had to stop by the cutest store to pick up some treats for a friends kids. They open at 10 am now but it fit our schedule perfectly today. Saw that they now offer a variety bag of 4 cookies! So perfect for those who wanna try more than one cookie! They are of course a smaller size but just to be able to sample a few different flavors is great! Then you can buy the larger one if you really find one you absolutely love.
Service is always great here, and working in this cute space must really make you feel warm and fuzzy (as a customer, I always get that feeling!).
If you're visiting from out of town, be sure to stop by and get your friends some goodies! Besides the yummy cookies, they also feature lots of other sweet treats! Definitely something for everyone!

On our last trip to Maui we decided to visit Makawao and I saw online to stop at the Maui Cookie Lady shop, but didn't really know much about them. The shop was small but so cute in how it was decorated, the person working was wonderful to talk with. We purchased a couple cookies to take home and wow are these cookies amazing. The worker told us to microwave them to get that fresh out of the over feel. We bought a variety and I feel like each cookie is better than the last, which is hard to do since each cookie was the best cookie I've ever had. My kids liked the birthday cake one, but I can't decide if white chocolate macadamia or peanut butter is my favorite. I'm sure when I have the Kona coffee one that's going to top the list. My husband and I both agree every trip to Maui will now include a stop at the Maui Cookie Lady.
