My family was wandering around exploring Makawao when my son noticed the sign and asked if we could get some cookies. We had never heard of the Maui Cookie Lady so had no idea what we were walking into. The shop smelled amazing and the service was so friendly. But when I saw the price of the cookies, honestly, I was taken aback. But I reluctantly bought some because I had already promised my son we would. When we left the shop, I thought, "These better be THE BEST cookies I've ever had." And they absolutely were. We're already talking about driving back to Makawao just to more. They're amazing and totally worth it.

I received these for my birthday late last year and just received my 2nd order…. Its become a contest with our boys and family to find the best cookies in America, and after over a couple of dozen attempts, these are the undisputed winner!!!! These are the very best we have had!!!!! They freeze great, and are just as delicious! I live on the suncoast of Florida and received them in less than a week! I recommend anyone that loves a big, fat delicious cookie treat to give these a chance! You won’t be disappointed!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I really hate saying this about a small local business- the woman in there was super friendly and I love the story behind it- but these cookies are just not good. If you like eating big balls of undercooked dough, while being able to feel the grains of sugar as your teeth chomp down, you will like these cookies. Also super disappointed by the fact that you can’t even get fresh baked cookies here, so warmth and freshness aren’t even factors that could make them better. They are prepackaged like you would get in a store.
