????? A Perfect Evening at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Maui!

Our visit to Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Maui was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the elegant yet welcoming atmosphere to the incredible food, everything was exceptional.

The star of the evening was the food—my Ribeye steak was nothing short of perfection. It was cooked to a flawless medium-rare, incredibly tender, and packed with rich, savory flavor. My wife’s lobster was equally amazing—fresh, buttery, and so perfectly prepared it practically melted in her mouth. Every bite was heavenly.

What truly set this experience apart, though, was the phenomenal service we received from our waitress, Kalehua. She was outstanding—warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. Kalehua ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect, making excellent recommendations and checking in at just the right moments. Her friendly personality and genuine care turned an amazing meal into a memorable evening.

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Maui is a must-visit! Incredible food, exceptional service (thank you, Kalehua!), and an all-around five-star experience. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommended!

Empty restaurant, but we left without eating after 20 minutes. Just one waiter and the manager serving.

There is a sign in front of the restaurant advertising happy hour.
Cocktails from $8
Wine from $8
Beer from $6
The cheapest cocktails on the happy hour menu in the bar are $14 and there is also a very small selection.
Wines were also significantly more expensive than advertised outside, only an SSD of three beers was actually offered at the advertised price.
We left again without consuming anything, the restaurant was also very empty, in contrast to the one above.

Amazing steakhouse! Ribeye steaks were grilled to perfection. Brings back memories of my years spent in NYC.

The Wolfgang Steakhouse is amazing. I know I am 15 years old but I love food and cooking and this place has good cooking, service, and scenery. The Steaks are the main hit but the fish (lobster & crab) are incredible too. All good selections of drinks and a nice book of wine and other beverages. This restaurant is worth everything and a must try.

Came here to grab some lunch after shopping. Wife had the lobster sandwich and I had the fish and chips. Honestly the lobster sandwich was one the of worst we’ve had. It’s more of chopped lobster on a flat bread. Pretty dry and flavorless. Wife did not enjoy it at all. The bread was thick and dense. I had the fish and chips. That was good. Overall I do not recommend the lobster roll. Our server Connor was awesome though. Great conversation and super friendly.

I am sorry to say, this was not a good experience. The service was very good. The ambiance was lovely. But that is where the positive ended. The pricing is way out of line for the quality and quantity of food. We were 1 of only 2 tables in the restaurant at prime dinner time.... first hint. There were only 3 staff members visible.... second hint. The entrees were helped being served by the chef....third hint. The portion size of the meal was greatly misrepresented, perhaps trying to justify the price....fourth hint. The quality of the food was not equal to expectations - lumpy, seemingly days old, reheated baked potato, very bread-cheese filled crab cake, almost non-existent lobster in the lobster mac, filets that were supposed to be 16 ozs(yes, I know they condense as cooked) that might have weighed 5 or 6 ozs when served. Overall, I have to say, I will not give them a second chance. My dining experience is too precious to roll the dice one more time.

I enjoy lunch at this spot due to the fact you have a fun less expensive & lighter fair offerings. We can't all do Tomahawks for lunch! Service for lunch is a bit over the top but guess thats to match the crazy prices but know your crowd guys. Love your $80 sirloin lunch special. Hope business picks up for you. Seems dead every time I pass by when I head up to Tommy Bahamas.

Outstanding service and food. Aaron was a great server, very attentive and helpful. The steak was amazing and their cocktails are top shelf in Wailea. As soon as word gets out that Wolfgang's is open and matches the Wolfgang quality elsewhere, this spot will take off. We liked that it's very nice inside but clearly Wailea casual. Mahalo!!!

The experience at Wolfgang steakhouse Maui was incredible. The staff bartender John was amazing. The best welcoming drinks were made and beautiful introduction to the menu especially during happy hour. We also appreciate the front desk and our waiter Adam, who took the time to take care of our entire family and recommend, a few spots in the island.

It was our second time here, and what a difference from our first visit. The service needs attention. The food was just okay. This was new from our last visit, but I ordered ice tea and they charge for refills. For what we spent there, it was very disappointing.

We recently dined at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Wailea, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. To start, the service was painfully slow. It felt like we were constantly waiting—for someone to take our order, for our drinks to arrive, and then even longer for our food. What should have been a relaxing evening turned into a frustrating ordeal. The place was empty too. Maybe 3 tables total so I’m not sure what the heck was going on.

When our $315 steak for 3 finally arrived, we were shocked to find out is was cooked well done, even though we specifically ordered it medium rare. The steak was tough, dry, and definitely not worth the hefty price tag. I mentioned this to our server, who incredibly insisted that the steak was actually medium rare. It was a frustrating and uncomfortable interaction, and rather than correcting the mistake, the server chose to argue with us..

To make matters worse, the specialty Wolfgang salad we ordered as an appetizer had a shrimp that was still frozen and some stale bacon. This is simply unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone one that markets itself as a high-end steakhouse.

Overall, the experience at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Wailea was far far below expectations. The combination of slow service, overcooked steak, and the poor handling of customer feedback left a bad taste in my mouth—both literally and figuratively. I would not recommend this restaurant, especially given the high prices and lackluster quality of both the food and the service.

This place will go out of business next by next summer. Do yourself a favor and go to Ruth Chris for a way better experience for probably half of the price..
