Wolfgang’s Steakhouse Maui

First time experience visiting in Wailea. Wonderful experience and everything the service, the ambience and especially the steak preparation were superior. Celebrating our anniversary as well as my husband's 93rd birthday...this was the perfect place.

Dinner last night and it was absolutely fabulous. The food was exceptional... easily the best meal we've had on the island so far. The service was phenomenal. Our server was attentive and genuinely invested in making the evening special. The ambiance struck the perfect balance of upscale and welcoming, creating a relaxed but elevated dining experience. We enjoyed it so much that we'll definitely be returning again during this trip. Highly recommend.

We truly enjoyed our first visit to Wolfgang's Steakhouse in Maui. The restaurant was elegant and the service was professional and responsive. The food was well prepared and offered sizable portions. My only complaint was our steak was not kitchen hot but was lukewarm. The prices of the steaks are higher than most restaurants, yet this is understandable due to prices these days and the fact that food costs must account for the price of getting product to the island. Overall, I recommend Wolfgang's for a special night of fine dining.

The service and the food was amazing. My wife and I had the seared ahi steak and salmon. Best ahi steak I have ever had.

Completely outstanding experience! Food was absolutely incredible and service was phenomenal! It wasn't busy at all which was especially delightful, which makes sense given the price point, but the steaks are shareable because they're so big and they have petit options that are more reasonable that aren't listed on the menu. Overall, highly recommend this place for a special occasion or splurge! Definitely worth it!

We usually love Wolfgang's! We always go when we visit NYC. We're in Maui on vacation and thought we should try it since we've always had an exceptional dinning experience in NYC. My husband and I visited your restaurant this past Saturday to celebrate his birthday. Upon arrival, we informed the host that we had a reservation. However, there appeared to be a mix-up — our email confirmation showed 7:45 p.m., while your system listed 7:00 p.m. Fortunately, the restaurant was not busy (only three other parties were present), so the reservation time was ultimately not an issue. Once seated, our server informed us that the only water options available were San Pellegrino (sparkling) and Aqua Panna (flat). We later learned that a house flat water option was available, but it was never offered to us, which made it seem as though we were required to purchase bottled water. When we asked about any specials, our server told us there were none, except those offered during happy hour. However, we overheard another server at a nearby table sharing multiple specials and offering house flat water to their guests. Additionally, the overall service felt rushed, with minimal communication from our server throughout the meal, which was disappointing given the occasion.

Among the many fine dining options in Kihei, we chose Wolfgang’s Steakhouse to celebrate our anniversary — and it could not have been a better choice. From the moment we arrived, the warm and gracious welcome from General Manager Joseph set the tone for the evening. Our server, Christopher, was equally outstanding — polished, attentive, and genuinely engaging. Both exemplified the spirit of great hospitality.

Our meal was fantastic from start to finish: classic appetizers, a crisp Caesar salad, a perfectly cooked dry-aged New York strip, and a side of delectable spinach — all topped off with a fabulous cheesecake for dessert.

You expect excellence from a fine establishment like this, and Wolfgang’s delivers in every way.

Great service. Never thought I would say this, but the only downside was the filet was HUGE! I felt wasteful. If that is the only criticism, I guess it was WONDERFUL

We had such a wonderful experience at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse! The food was very good, but what truly made the evening unforgettable was the service. Jacinta went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of from start to finish. She was attentive, kind, and made the whole dinner feel special. It’s rare to find someone who takes such pride in what they do, and she absolutely elevated our night.

We will definitely be back, not only for the food, but especially to see Jacinta again. Mahalo for the spectacular service! 🌺✨

Wolfgang's is an OG steakhouse. Steak & potatoes. Not very creative. Desserts were the same, very old school. At $200 for steak, I'd like a pressed tablecloth without fold lines. Great & VERY attentive staff, pretentious atmosphere. It's unfortunate, that spot had great potential. I'm not sure why you would open a steak house next door to a Ruth Chris. Complement, don't compete. The happy hour was ok.

Overall we had a good experience. Food was good, service was fine. I do have to comment on the Ribeye steak: why o why!!! Is it so huge? 24 oz (I think) it's gigantic. It was cooked ok, but tbh not fantastic. I think a smaller portion with higher quality meat would be much better.

We had an excellent experience at Wolfgang’s steakhouse. The steak was cooked to perfection and the service was top-notch. It’s also in a great location, in a quiet corner at The Shops at Wailea.
