I had a fabulous birthday dinner at Kula Lodge Restaurant last night! Our waiter, Sascha, was attentive and entertaining. The food was exceptional, and we loved the live music and bicoastal views as the sun set. My husband and I were treated to an amazing dessert too! It was a memorable way to celebrate my birthday... I highly recommend this restaurant!

Arrived on island the night before and had breakfast booked here on Monday 8/4/2025. The views were spectacular and what a way for us to start our vacation on Maui. The food was amazing. We had the quiche, my husband the omelet, and our friend the pancakes. The colors on the plate were beautiful. We ordered some fresh fruit to go with our meal and the coffee was refillable. We would love to visit the Resturant again. With the latest fire that took the Resturant, we are prayerful that they can rebuild a business that has been there for decades. Thank you for a beautiful morning when we were there. 🙏

I'm rating 5 stars on everything even though it was a 3 star experience. The unexpected Hawaii Tsunami created major chaos on the night of our visit, with an inundation of customers traveling upcountry to higher elevations. Staff were thoroughly overwhelmed, but they kept their spirits high and plowed through the chaos. Our food was delicious, the views spectacular. Michelle was outstanding as our server and as a part-time hostess. We will be back, hopefully in a more normal dining experience. We look forward to another visit.

Lovely setting and service!! We were a party of 8, and everything went beautifully! Our waiter from Sonoma did an excellent job at recommending wine, appetizers and meals! The food was outstanding!!!

Carpet was not vacuumed. Tables were nicely set. $32 for a fish sandwich with taro chips and marinated veggies, too pricey! Luckily, we were given the kamaaina discount. Phew.

Kula Lodge & Restaurant was fabulous. Beautiful setting overlooking the valley and mountains along with their own garden areas. The food was AMAZING with large portion sizes. The service was great and food served in a timely manner. The violinist, Willy Wainwright, is super talented and a wonderful touch to the ambiance.

Felt like senior management was nowhere to be found. New server and miscommunication at the kitchen... Leading to forgotten orders and 30 minute delay. Location is beautiful but out-of-the-way and hard to get an Uber to come pick up at the end of the night.

The food was great! Loco moco was super yummy! Definitely recommend! Service was amazing, our server was attentive and made sure our group had everything we needed. The atmosphere gave me a warm cabin feeling. Felt really homey with a touch of class!

The Kula lodge truly is the best restaurant in Maui to watch the sunset! The food, service and atmosphere are A+! I couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate my 22nd anniversary of being cancer free! Be sure to ask for Sasha!

We have been coming frequently of late. Eggplant delicious, with a different presentation. Seared Ahi, was good, but they are now using a lesser cut, instead of the sashimi grade that we had the last time we were there a couple of weeks ago the are using the belly cut. Great cocktails and we really enjoyed our evening AGAIN there.

Overall the experience was ok and as someone who appreciates really good food it was over rated. My wife ordered the Ahi as she is really a lover of good Ahi Tuna. She felt it lacked flavour and didn't finish her meal. I ordered the burger and although the presentation was great I feel the burger patty needed seasoning maybe a sprinkle of salt, pepper and garlic powder would have elevated it to one to remember. The homemade chips that accompanied my burger were fantastic and if available for purchase in a package would have been a no brainer. The restaurant is set in a very beautiful area with lush vegetation and beautiful landscape. The level of service was great from the greeting by the host to our table service.
