My husband and I were heading to the national park when we found this cafe—we’re so glad we stopped! The food is absolutely delicious, especially the breakfast sandwiches. The wife makes the focaccia bread, which is amazing.
It was so nice chatting with James, the husband. Very friendly and a family-owned business that spans generations.

Fantastic place to dine-in. We made a stop for breakfast after the Haleakala sunrise adventure. The food was delicious, substantial portions. Very simple but amazing menu with food for every taste. I ordered the scramble eggs with fried rose and Portuguese sausage and it was delicious! I read that the restaurant is own by a local couple and you can see the love and passion for a great service and food. Highly recommend if you are in the area or if you can make a quick detour to enjoy great food!

We happened upon this place on our way down from seeing the sun rise on Haleakala and enjoyed a delicious breakfast.

Stopped here after the sunrise at Haleakalā national park. It’s a cute little mom and pop ran cafe serving delicious breakfast. Owner told us they just opened after being closed the last 2 years due to the fires.

Stopped for a warm beverage and a little breakfast after seeing the sunrise at Haleakala. Lovely owner! He said it was closed for a while but it’s now open. Great place to warm up!

Extremely grateful to have had breakfast here one morning. Great good, beautiful view, and got to meet the owner. Sincerely hoping these guys are doing OK after the Maui wildfire, and hope to see them back in action soon. ?

Located just next to Haleakala National Park, Kula Sandalwoods Inn and Cafe is a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch after visiting the summit. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is delicious. The owner is very sweet and welcoming, and has taken good care of the place. There is lots of foliage to admire, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The French toast is amazing, and the Egg Benedict is also very good. You get free coffee refills, and the staff won't push you to leave soon. There are restrooms on the premises, and plenty of parking.Overall, Kula Sandalwoods Inn and Cafe is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

We stopped here for breakfast as a stop on the Maui volcano Sunrise tour (Haleakala), the menu is varied. The dishes are plentiful and tasty. Quick and courteous service. The garden is very beautiful and has a beautiful view!

Perfect for breakfast after coming down haleakala for the sunrise. Food was excellent, service was great, and not expensive. There's also the Botanical garden and lavender farm right down the road also.
