Very fun. Would try this again. Our tour leader Kate was very helpful and nice. Coffee was excellent. We also spoke with Ryan or Brian he was very knowledgeable about coffee cultivation and took time out of his day to really make our experience special. Would recommend for anyone who loves food and coffee.
Did the coffee and brunch tour and it ended up the highlight of my trip! Everyone who works at this farm is super knowledgeable and friendly. Shoutout to the tour guide Katie who did an awesome job and made the experience so fun. Very educational and would definitely recommend.
Amazing tour with lots of information. The farm to table lunch was just perfect. The view and the timing was an added benefit: the food was clean and incredible. Portions were perfect. My 10 year old daughter isn’t very ‘picky’, but she is ‘particular’ in her food options and she ate everything! From the salad, to the fish, to the perfectly cooked chicken. She loved the whole experience. My 17 year old son also loved everything about this experience. The very fresh fruit, chocolate and coffee was a perfect ending to a great meal!
So happy we chose this as part of our vacation on Maui. O’o farms is something special and all should experience it at least once… but we will definitely be back when we return to Maui:)
We loved our tour with Miley. She was funny and knowledgeable. Tour was interactive and lunch was absolutely incredible. Fantastic experience
It was an informative tour on coffee, the harvesting process, and the sustainability associated with the farm. The food presentation and taste was both stunning and full of flavor. Thank you!
Did the coffee tasting farm tour with breakfast and had the best time. As a coffee nerd, I learned a lot from James about how the farm grows and processes their coffee. The farm was beautiful and brunch was UNREAL. We demolished it before remembering to take photos. Worth every penny
Such a great tour, breakfast was delicious.
I struggled to give this a 5 rating. Not because it wasn't great. But I wish we could rate on a 1-10 scale. In that case, O'o Farm would definitely get a 9 out of 10 from me. The coffee was great, the education on the roasting process was great, the tour of the farm was great. The brunch and setting was incredible. I think everything we ate was grown on the farm, with exception of the venison sausage but that was sourced locally. Every single thing we ate was phenomenal. Don't fool yourself into thinking this is a big coffee farm. I don't think they exist in Hawaii. But, this experience was better than that anyway. It was a bit pricey, therefore the 'less than perfect' rating. However, I believe it was an experience that my wife and I will cherish. Very Maui.
If you’re into craft coffee and you’re a foodie you would LOVE this place.
We did a coffee and brunch tour at O’o Farms and it was such an incredible experience! Everyone on the property was so kind and knowledgeable, and it was fascinating to learn about and taste the different types of coffee. To top it all off, the brunch at the end was absolutely DELICIOUS!

We did the coffee/breakfast tour and it was excellent! I believe Kate was our guide (I hope I’m remembering her name!). She was very friendly, down to earth and knowledgable. Best part - letting us hold and pet one of the chickens (they’re pets not food!). I was a little nervous that it wouldn’t be very coffee heavy based on other reviews, but we did a full coffee tasting at the beginning of 3 different types, which included education on coffee harvesting and roasting process during the tasting. Tasting were in tiny cups but you could get more. As a milk in my coffee person, I was thrilled that they had milk, and some sweetener. I forget exactly what it was. A syrup made from the coffee cherry, I think. After tasting, we did a tour of the farm (held a chicken) tasted coffee beans off the plant, and then learned about pour over before sitting for breakfast, which had more coffee. They’re incredibly responsive about allergies. My husband has quite a few, and one of the dishes included something he was allergic to, so we got a plate that didn’t include that ingredient. I appreciate how they proactively ask and they double checked and confirmed allergies at check in that morning. Breakfast is really fruit and veggie forward as a lot is from the farm. There were some English muffins and some venison patties and frittata. Everything else was fruit or veggie - all amazing but if you’re a big meat/bread person, you may have a hard time.
The only bummer was that one of the coffees we tasted wasn’t available to purchase and they only sell it at the store. With it being fairly far away in the upcountry and only being in Maui for a week it’s hard to “ come back” (although they did say they’d call us and were so accommodating, it’s just hard on vacation). It was a bummer but such is life. Everything else was fabulous you can’t even mark it down.
I signed up for the Seed-to-Cup Coffee Tour they have expecting it to be heavily educational and focused on coffee. The staff were very friendly and the food at the brunch was incredible, but there wasn’t much coffee knowledge or focus. It may have been staff members out but the roasting wasn’t part of the tour at all and when I asked coffee-specific questions, they didn’t know the answers.
Really wonderful farm, and it’s a great experience for foodies, it just wasn’t what I expected after reading the tour description online.
Tour of the farm and the grounds was very interesting. The meal was excellent.
Absolutely EXCELLENT experience!!! We did the farm tour and lunch. Amazing. This farm started out 25 years ago and was the main supplier for Pacifico beachfront restaurant, which burned down in the Lahaina fire. They are doing wonderful things at the farm, all organic, regenerative farming. Love their mission. Lunch was exquisite. James was a fantastic tour guide and super helpful and interesting.
We took the breakfast tour, it was detailed, relaxed, informative, and yummy! A great unique activity even the teens loved. Great activity when you need a break from the beach. Highly recommended if you like coffee and farm to table food.
