The food here is very greasy and not as good as Sensai Nobu, the flies everywhere, the greasy makes me felt sick and nauseous after dining in.

Spicy shrimp was generously portioned but quite bland, along with the vegetables served with it. We are raw veggie lovers but also like a variety of cooked sides and salads which is not on the extremely limited and expensive menu. The red wines by the glass were not great. I recall Nobu in Dallas being much better - more selections, better tasting. Staff was gracious and kind.

Amazing service, and the best restaurant on the island for sure. It was frustrating dealing with other restaurants on the resort, but this place has high standards. I wouldnāt waste my time at the Italian place across the way but Nobu was perfect in comparison.

We had a fabulous experience at Nobu Lana'i when we stayed at the Four Seasons. The service was exactly what you would expect at this caliber of restaurant and we adored our waitress who gave us excellent recommendations based on our tastes. I loved the lychee martini. The lobster tacos were my favorite. Honestly I was a little nervous about this restaurant thinking it may be too fancy and artsy for me but I loved everything we had. The setting is GORGEOUS. I hope to come back some day

Nobu is of course an iconic brand, and Iām a big fan of their flagship restaurants.
What you get here is a familiar experience with classic dishes like their black miso cod. The chefs have been well trained and make the classics just as youād expect them. Thatās tough to do in such a remote environment, so bravo.
Hats off to a varied wine menu with some nice value picks. Not all $1000 wines!
So why four stars? Three things.
First, the cocktail menu is pretty poor. At least four Aperol drinksā¦ very summer 2023! And the preparation was average. Skip it and go down the steps to the pool bar which has amazing cocktails.
Second, Iām a big believer that a restaurant like this should draw from its own heritage as well as local. There is some attempt with the ānowā section but almost no use of local fish and produce. Thatās a travesty.
Third, the ānowā dishes were a bit hit and miss. The fried rice cakes with tuna tartare was epic, but the ahi wasabi salsa was massively over seasoned with wasabi and inedible.
But I donāt wish to be too critical. Itās a very good restaurant.

The ocean-side location adds to the serene ambiance, while the staff exudes warmth and professionalism. Unpretentious yet luxurious, it's more than diningāit's a memorable, palate-awakening journey.

Nobu is outstanding, excellent service and impeccable , very professional. Food was amazing. Of course the view, the ambiance, you are in a place quite being in the tropic, outdoor experience. Must eat toro sushi, and toro tartare. If you have time eat in the counter. Love it.

As always with Nobuās around the world, the quality of the ingredients was phenomenal. What differentiates Nobu locations from each other is ambiance, service and execution. The service was friendly and professional. The food was excellent. The views were great. It was a little warm but thereās only so much you can control that with a restaurant that is outdoors.
